i had 2 years relationship with this girl. We have planned to get married and had sexual relationships. Our last sexual intercourse was 40 days ago. After that she got one period and she confirmed that with me on phone. Our relationship broke up 4 days ago due to family reasons. Both parents are against our marriage. Now after 4 days she sent me a SMS that she was lying about her periods and actually the peridos were not started. She is pregnant and will give birth to baby. Is she telliong truth? i am under too much stress.

First of all dont you think you are wrong, just bcoz your parents dont like your relationship, did you ask your parents before having a relation with her... secondly she might be telling the truth as may be her periods as you have stated may be only for short time, it happens for many ladies...the best way you can check is take her to the doctor and confirm, if it is yes, than pls marry her, do not abort a baby for the mistake done by you two, i dont think you have any right to punish or kill the baby... and if it is worng, ask her the reason for doing so..may be she is loving you deeply..

You need to speak to her in person. Figure out on what day the last period she had started. Figure out what day (as close as possible) her period should have come. How many days late is she? Have her show you her positive pregnancy test or if she is just guessing that she is pregnant, take a home pregnancy test with you when you see her and have her use it. Read the results with her.
How old are you both? If you think she could lie to you about something so serious as a pregnancy, she sounds either very young and immature or scared to death. Why do you need your parents to approve or disapprove? If you want to marry her and she wants to marry you and you are both adults why break up at all?
If you or she is still a child, offer to be with her, to support her emotionally and physically while she tells her parents.

Well only you can answer that. If you don't have faith that she's telling the truth...why not ? Are you hoping that she's prego ? Hoping she's not prego ? Ask yourself WHY she would lie bout her period. Do you think that she may be lying to keep the rel alive ? Why would she lie ? You know her better than any of us (doubt any of us know who you're talking bout) & there may be other things on your mind that you haven't already stated... If you really think that she may be lying, maybe you should confront her... & ask her if she really hasn't gotten her period. Maybe she's just late. Stress can cause a person to miss their period. It's happened to me b/f... Good luck !

If she is pregnant I would question rather or not it's yours. She may just be trying to get you back in her life by telling you she is pregnant when she is really not. I diffently would not trust someone that is lying all the time. If she is pregnant get a preternaty test before you give her any money or sign anything. Good Luck

No offence buddy just want to tell you gave a commitment to her about marriage and had sexual relationship. Now when your parents not agreeing you changed your plates. Are you not ashamed that you spoil ed some body's life. May be not hers according to you but of the person whose gonna marry her. Well its time you take responsibility convince your parents and get married to her. And for god sake please stand in her shoes and try to go through the pain she is going through then you will know it.

there is only one way to find out. test.....ask her to do a pregnancy test and say that you would like to be there for her during the test.....Tread lightly!!!!!!! Don't accuse her of lying or anything, she may have lied to you the first time to save u from the stress. She could be under stress from the break up. Maybe this is why she is late

K be careful with this one. I am a female and would never lie about it myself but a lot of women think that if they say that the man will stay with them. But she could be telling you the truth. My advice is to tell her then fine but you want to go to the next doctors apointment. Don't say to see if she is telling you the truth, just because if it is your child you want to be there for the whole thing. When the next appointmnet happenes you will see for sure. And another thing if you love her and she loves you then don't ever let anyone come between you.

You have to confront the person and attempt to read their lie through either body language or eye contact.
When properly educated reading lies is fairly basic and simple.
And the only sure way of knowing if someone lies is to have a direct person to person conversation with questions and some minor cross examining of them.
Its impossible to tell if someone is lying over email, text or SMS, and definitely the lowest form of modern communication.

the fact that she may be lieing means she really loves you and can't afford to lose you. find out this. is better to listen to counsel from elders but they may be wrong and you would end up tormenting yourself for the restof your life - be careful.
the best way to know if she is not telling the truth is to get back together with her and you will find out whether or not she's telling the truth . i think you should listen to your heart and conscience . all the best
