im only 8 weeks pregnant and dont want to get my hopes up. dont even know wat im expectn but because my boyfriend is chineese i want a name that fits in with his last name for a girl i like leila, rose but for a boy im lost.

There are a lot of websites online that tell you the origins of names. I would guess just type baby names origin. I found a lot of these when i was pregnant. Does he have any opinons? Maybe you could pick the girl name and he could pick the boy name and when you find out what youre having suprise eachother. Besides, once you say (and yell ;) ) their name 1000 times, it'll sound good no matter what you pick. Have fun!

it would help to know what your boyfriends last name is. I like Leila, not big on Rose to old and to over done.

Congratulations.....I would try talking to his mom, sister,or other family members about names that fit their culture. You have plenty of time to play around with names. I like to name my kids after someone special in their life. I was named after my grandma's first name...my daughter was named Paige and her middle name is that of my mom. I plan to do the same with my son, you could then make it important to him...ask your boyfriend for names of those people who are important and he is proud of. That is the best name for a child.
