Ok my son is 18 months old and all he can say right now is mama, dada, sometimes bear and cookie. So we took him to his 18 month check up and my doc freaks b/c he can't say atleast 10 words. My son understands everything we say to him. I look at him and tell him to go get his water on the table and he will go get it and bring it back. He hears us, but the doc was saying that he might not be able to hear so good and suggested and hearing test. For what? He listens and responds. He can also do things that most 2 year olds can't.. the only thing wrong is he isn't talking yet. Should this be a problem. I mean he always points at what he wants and I tell him what it is and repeat it. I read to him, I talk to him all day long about what I'm doing what i need to do, and when we are out I am always talking to him. He just isn't speaking yet. Anyone else with this problem? And should I be worried? even though I feel that my son will talk when he wants to. I don't feel like he should be forced.

I ahve taken many tests and it seems as though the positives are getting lighter and lighter, does this mean that my HCG levels are going down? Would this be a sign of early miscarriage?

I have just suffered a m/c at 7 weeks. I am worried this will reduce my chances of getting pregnant again. (I had to have a D and C as my body would not m/c on its own. The baby was proven dead by low HCG levels and an USS showing no fetal development). I would like some facts and advice please?

I don't know if it is normal, but I'm really scared something is wrong with her. She acts normal I suppose, but every little thing that seems odd I freak out. She is my first and I'm constantly paranoid she is going to die for some reason. I really don't know what to do... or think, at this point.

My mom watch a 20/20 report about woman having epidurals ands having sever complications and even dying. She dosen't want me to have any pain meds that require a needle in my spine for the fear of getting really sick or dying. But I have little to no pain threshold and the thought of having a c-section and having to be put under bugs me?

This started early Monday morning. I was having some painless contractions and when my son would move I would get this shooting needle like burning pain in my vaginal area. Went to the doctor and they said that I was 70% thinned already and they were concerned about my contractions so they sent me over to the hospital to be evaluated for a few hours. nothing had changed so they sent me home. Around 5 o clock wednesday I was having horrid pains that were putting me into tears. I dont really understand the counting and how many in a hour thing so I just called my midwife because it felt like they werent getting any less stronger. Went to the hospital and they told me i was 100% thinned and 1 cenimeter dialated. Contractions slowed after some meds they gave and they sent me home. Today i went to the bathroom and when i wipe my t.p had a dark pink tint to it. Can someone please help me understand what is going on. I am only 22 and this is my first and Im getting a little scared. Please hel

I have been having really bad lower abdomen pains like my stomach is stretching...I have white fluids leaking from only on breast...I am spotting and have all the symptoms of being pregnant. How possible is it Pleas help me...I have taken test and they were negative...should i do a blood test?

so my last period was dec. 6th and that was after being 16 days late. i I took like 4 hpt and had a blood and physical exam done. not pregnant. not for lack of trying...so this time it has started all over again. i ovulated i know had fertile mucus. i really feel about the same as i did last time, so i don't think i am pregnant, again. my annual is monday. I have been off the pill since may of last year. i was on that for about 3 months to regulate my cycle. i have been on seasonal for a year and a half and on dep for 6 years before that. does anyone know when i can expect my period or hey, even better what is wrong.??? thanks!!!

What should I consider as a period?
I had ovulated on Nov 30, and had unprotected sex ( we're trying)! I should have started on December 14th and didn't, but on December 24 I had a light redish brown flow, which only lasted 3 - 4 days.. I took 3 pregnancy test, one when I was first late, one a week later, and one on December 24, all neg. My question is, should I count the flow on the 24th as a period? As of right now I am not considering any kind of period syptoms other than tiredness.
I am wondering so I know if I miss this period too? If I dont count the flow on the 24 and count the 14th as if I had started, that means I should have started the 8th, if not and I count the 24 as a period, I shouldn't start until the 22nd. I am so confused!

Ok people I have a girlfriend in which she says that she is pregnat at the moment, we took 2 pregnancy test to see if both would come up as positive, meanwhile these past 2 years we have been having unprotected sex and all of a sudden she is pregnant from viewing the test. She had 2 std's of chlamydia and goneria which one of them was past on to me chlamydia, the doctor at care now stated that her tubes might be scared and she might not be able to concieve a child, she wants a baby but I dont, reason why is family mafia,trafficing money for my uncles and I owe allot of debt to people. she is past dew on her period about 6 days, in which case this has happened before where she was late on her period, I even took a pregnancy test and it came up as positive which makes no sense to me and it was a digital one that simply says pregnant or not pregnant, I have had a miscarriage with another female in the past and I have not seen any symptoms of pregnancy like Ive seen before, she over reacts

I was changing batteries for a calculator and when I pulled out the old batteries they leaked all over my hands. I washed my hands for a long time but I hope if any did get into my skin it wont hurt the baby! I am 31 weeks and this may sound stupid but can anyone relate? My doctors office is closed for the day and it may be a dumb question but I just want my baby to be ok. Thanks!

My daughter is almost 18mths and likes to take off her diaper. I know she is semi ready to be potty trained, but she don't listen to the simplist of task, let alone telling her about the potty.
