relax. this is all a normal part of getting ready to give birth. you are close and the baby is ready. you are a little early and seem to be having early contractions. you will probably be told to remain in bed and stop all normal activity as you are probably working too hard and putting that baby through a real tough workout when he needs to be relaxing and growing so he has strength to come out.
I am sure if you relax and listen to your docs and midwife you will be fine. but relax and get off your feet. you are depriving the baby of much needed oxygen.

Wow I sincerely hope you have someone there that can hold your hand through all of this.First try not to stress yourself out too much about it otherwise it can cause you to go into early labor.Second it sounds almost like you are going through some early labor and thankfully they've been stopping it when they do.Don't panic hun take some deep breaths and just listen to your midwife/Dr's.It's not a bother to them for you to call every time you are afraid of a symptom thats their job thats what they're there for. You're first pregnancy is important and yes very scarey at times not knowing what to expect.Spotting is common if you've gone to the Dr or midwife and they've given you a vaginal exam to see if you are thinned/effaced/dialated.Perhaps, this is the cause of your pink spot?If it occurred soon after you had that visit at the hospital then its normal hun try to stay calm. Also every hospital and or midwife has a phone line that you can use to call to speak with an "advice nurse".Use it when you need to and you know you need to when you start freaking out or feeling anxious about things.
Remember try not to stress you're already having early labor symptoms. The more you stress the more likely you could possibly push yourself into it more so.
Good Luck Sweetie and Congradulations I wish you all the best and your baby too...
Blessed Be,
M.G

I answered on your other question. Don't panic, ok? Calm down. If your really worried, call your doctors office. There is never a stupid reason for calling them. They are doctors and know that late night and random calls come with the territory. Worse case scenario is that they'll tell you to call back in with reports. But don't worry about your baby. Even if you go into labor this second, the chances of any complications are very small. your almost full term and they have been able to save babies born in the 20-30 week span. Everything will be fine. You'll get to see your baby soon, so be happy not scared. Good luck.

Call the doctor on call and tell them about this. You sound very nervous and you might also need someone to be there with you to calm you. Calm down because the baby needs you to. Take a breath and then relax. It sounds normal and you probably are almost ready to deliver in the next few days. If you have a friend or a family member that has had children, ask them to go with you and bring a nice little box of chocolates and a needed shoulder. Good luck and congrats! How blessed you are!

Empty your bladder, Lay down on your left side for one hour. Time your contractions. If they go away your fine. If they get more intense defiantly go to the hospital. If the pain is sooo persistent and wont go away , your in labor.
You can have spotting and be thinned for weeks before delivery especially if it's your first. If you just aren't sure go to the hospital and they will check you out. Don't be embarrassed, I got sent home more times with my third child. I never got sent home with the other two. So defiantly..don't be embarrassed.

The pink could just be "bloody show" I started having the pink about a week before my son was born. I would say to keep bugging your doctor. You are about to have a baby and don't need the added stress of not knowing what is going on. That is what they are paid for. Good Luck and enjoy the new baby.

I had my first child that young too and when it happened to me they called it my mucus plug. It means the baby is coming...at least it did for me. I lost mine at like 1pm and he was born the next day 7am. I would def not be afraid to call them and let them know. I never knew how to do the counting thing either and I have had 3 kids...i will let you know this (dont think im gross I wish someone had told me this) if you feel like you have to go to the bathroom #2 it may mean that the baby is ready to be "pushed" out. I kept feeling like I had to go to the bathroom and was sitting at home and I kept trying...lol then finally I couldn't take the contractions anymore. I got there and I was 10CM!!! Haha just in time...lol!! So def call the Dr. but it sounds to me esp. if you are 1cm already its your mucus plug. Congrats to you when he comes!

OK. Don't be scared. It is because as your cervix dilates some little vessels break. When the vessels break a little blood comes out. As you wipe you will see it. It is normal. As long as you are not contracting again you should be fine. If you are really worried go back in. They will help.

You need to call your doctor and tell them about the pink. It was probably your mucous plug and 35 weeks is too early for you to lose it. It sounds like early labor and you should be at the hospital.
