does anyone know the old ring test and what is it?

the ring test I know is you take your wedding ring and put it on a gold chain and put it over your belly. If it goes around in circles you are having a girl, if it sways back and forth it's a boy. If it stays still your having twins.

Tie a ring on a string and hold it above your right hand. If it swings in a circle, your having a girl. If it swings in a line, its a boy.

I hope that is what you meant.
