Pregnancy & Parenting - 8 January 2007

Hey, well I am due to have my first baby Febuary 10th.. and I am so scared I will be a bad parent. This whole pregnancy has gone by so fast.. I thought I would feel more prepared I guess but I feel like a big mess! I really don't want to ruin her life.. Is it normal to feel so unprepared??

I already know that the baby could be big. That's not a problem, because I'm having a c-section. Will the baby have low or high blood sugars, and will this continue to be a problem for my child or is it something that goes away as the baby grows? What's the deal?

I have heard that some women have a bowl movement while delivering because of the pressure on the bowl while the baby is being born, is this very common? Anyone else heard anything about this?

I need some advice.
I find that my 12 year old daughter, although cute, intelligent and talented, seems to lack confidence in certain areas. To look at her, you would think she would be one of the more popular girls at school, but for some reason, she doesn't seem to develop close friendships. She has friends, but they all seem disposable.
I've noticed she has a habit of chasing after boys who obviously aren't interested in her, and the same with girls she wants to be friends with who aren't interested in being friends. I tell her she's wonderful, and at home she's confortable and confident, but no matter what I say to her, she doesn't seem to understand that she doesn't need to TRY so hard for people to like her.
I get the feeling she's shy at school, which surprises me because I don't see that shy girl very often, and I know she has it in her to be confident and outgoing.
She's involved in dance, and plays drums in the school band, but she never seems to connect with anyone.

I don't like freaking myself out-but I do. I was a virgin up till about 4 days ago when my boyfriend and I decided to have sex. We used a condom and he pulled out before he came-but after we had sex I started getting cramps and a little sick..not morning sickness....and I gained a few pounds....could this be from the sex or could these possibly be warning signs of being pregnant?

What is the possibilitie of me being pregnant?

My period isn't for another 2 and a half weeks....to clear up the cramping.
And it's right above my left [my left] hip bone. Like directly above it.

I have twin boys - they are 2 years and 4 months. They hear three languages at home - grandma speaks one, my husband speaks second and speak third to them. They can identify all animals and shapes in all languages, but they only say "mama", "dada" and "Tedo" (name of one of the twins). I've read that children of their age should be able to speak 2-word sentences, and i don't know if it time to raise alarm. Please advise.

she stays hungry constantly like every 2 hours she wants to eat!!she only takes 4 ounces at a time!!but she just stays so hungrey!!does anyone know anything that will help??also i am gonna try cearel but what kind of bottles do i use,i can not find cereal ones and the holes in the others are too small please help

I was just wondering what the chances are of cutting the skin, and does it bleed, and does the baby feel a lot of pain? Now and then when I give my 1 1/2 month old a bath, it scares the crap out of me because I generally clip his nails after bathing him. For a long time I put it off until he accidentally scratched his nose, but I get so nervous! What are your experiences?

I asked about girl names not long ago, and got such a great response that I actually did choose a name to use. I would like a boy soon later on, and i would like his name to start with j. On Dec. 15th I had unprotected sex with my husband. While we were having sex he came inside of me. On Jan. 2nd my period came but it was a little unusual. Every since then I have been feeling very different, my body feels as if it has been changing. I have been urinating more than usual, I have been feeling dizzy and lightheaded if I am standing on my feet to long or if I stand up to quick, my legs have been aching very badly, and last but not least my breast ache and they are developing stretch marks!!!!!!!

i have asked a couple of questions regarding ways to get my period to come back because i have not had a real period in over a year and husband and i would like to try to conceive..i have been to the doctors they say everything is perfect, i have tried acupuncture and their herbs, i have tried vitex, ovulex, female toner ect and still nothing, no i have never been on birth control i have had previous miscarriages due to abuse not by hubby...I need something inexpensive. im sick of everybody telling me if u dont have the money to get the help how can i afford a baby, well thats not your business. i dont have insurance and it gets expensive with all the tests and i have had many test and have to take out the money for them and pay my bills ect, does not mean i cant take care of a kid so please do not reply with oh your young IM MARRIED or wait til your financially stable I AM. i dont want anyone under 21 trying to help me out...thanks

I'm 9weeks pregnant going on 10 weeks in two days. I've been cramping here and there. Nothing really sore that will cause me not able to get up. Is that normal?
