first of all, you need to contact the court house and ask how to get your visitation enforced. he can get in big trouble for denying you visitation or interfering with phone calls (just like women do).
it doesnt matter if you pay your support, if its owed or timely, you have a RIGHT to see your child. tell the Judge about all of it. that'll make 'em mad, thats for sure.
file the papers tomorrow. dont wait any longer. and every time he does it, file again.

Why is it that he filed court papers and not the other way around. If there is a good reason why you haven't been able to see the child then yes you can still be ordered to pay. File for custody and visitation rights, it may not effect the child support (you still have to pay for your child) but at least you will have rights written down and then he can get in trouble for not letting you see the child

Child support and custody are two different courts that you have to go to. Just because someone pays child support does not mean they can see their child, I mean, your ex is being a jerk but, if you want to see your son, go to your local court house and file for joint custody or visitation! Or you can even call them to find out more! Good luck, I couldn't go more then 2 days without my lil man!

If you have a visitation agreement and/or a custody agreement you can take him to court. If you don't or all of your rights have been taken away, he does not have to allow you to see him. Just because you pay your child support does not give you visitation rights.
I'm sorry for your situation. I would check with an attorney or Family Law Master or Child Protective Services.

If you hae court ordered visitation you take him to court for denying you visitation. If you don't, get an attorney, or if your income is low go to Legal Aid and they will petition the court for a visitation schedule. One thing ... make sure you are current on your child support . . . even if you are behind, they cannot deny you seeing your son unless there are some things you are not telling us ....

You are the boys mother. The father can't raise him all on his own. Its bad enough that the boy has to grow up without a mother, but now his mother doesn't even want to give money so that he can have food and stuff. You should pay, and tell his father/demand to the court that you want to see your son.

Get a court order for visitation. If the courts don't know that the child is being withheld, what can they do?
