if you are younger than the 'age of consent' for your state then the law can do something if you OR your parents decide to press charges.
Good luck.

You are not alone many of us were in your shoes ...you are lucky that now days people don't put you down for being pregnant and you can get help from family, friends and medical or public services....First of all get yourself to a doctor so you get off on the right foot. You need an exam and put on vitamins and whatever the doctor recommends...a new mother needs to have good mental health as well as physical health so your baby will come into the world healthy and happy. If you smoke stop or if you drink beer and other alcohol please stop because the baby's development can be affected if you do these things....eat a balanced diet, get enough rest. Treat yourself like you are a queen because your body is doing the work for two now. I was in your position many years ago...and gave birth to a beautiful daughter and I wouldn't change what happened for all the tea in China...best wishes to you and the baby's Dad. Hugs across the miles from Mama Jazzy Geri

It is not agaiinst the law to be 18 and pregnant. Though it should be. Why on Earth in this day and age would an 18 yr. old girl tie herself down to a baby when she has the entire future to get married and have kids. Do you realize that this "boyfriend" can leave and leave you to care for this baby alone? Are you ready for food stamps and welfare? Is your life so unimportant that educating yourself and being something important is not good enough for you? Didn't you want to date a lot, travel, get your own place, hang out all night, spend money on cool shoes and clothes? Well, with a baby so young you'll only grow resentful. I think this poor baby is gonna suffer. Hope you like dirty diapers, vomit and sore nipples. Teenagers are not good parents.

Don't worry. God made it happen, He will work it out too.
I wouldn't worry too much about legalities. Things naturally play out. I know with parents, those are popular threats. Even if someone follows through, it's not like your boyfriend will be locked up and key thrown away or anything. It just doesn't work like that.
Don't let someone scare you into a rash decision of any kind.

I was 17 when i had my oldest daughter. Her father was 21. No one said anything to us, but then again, my parents were fine with it. You should be fine unless someone tries to press charges on him, but if your going to be 18 soon, then you don't have much to worry about. the whole court process usually takes a few monthes anyway. I wish you the best, and don't worry I'm sure you will be fine.

in most states the legal age of consent is 16 so there is nothing that the law could do about it.

You really shouldn't have played around like that in the frist place. But, you should tell your parents if you haven't already. They can help you out A LOT!! Go to them as soon as possible. The sooner it's said, the sooner it will be over with. God Bless you and your new baby!!

depends on the state you live in. I'm in ohio and it's not illegal. I was 17 and my husband was 20 when I got pregnant.

probably is statutory rape in your state, you'd have to check........look it up by internet via statutes for your state......good luck with all this...makes you think that you should have waited until you had someone serious about you, not just using you and some money...now you'll be poor all your life and you will miss the fun of being young and free.....for what? for someone to use you? wise up...you pay for mistakes and hopefully so will he.....more often, the little boy skips away free and will be after your best friend next week.....breed and learn
