I am being induced in 2 days and was wondering how my recovery might be from my first vaginal birth.

sure it's normal gain, but ppl r already asking ?'s. will i continue to get noticeably bigger, or will i have the same pooch for a while. and if i will, how long is awhile?

My son is 9 weeks old and Im not losing any weight........I am just stuck at 125 and want to weigh 110. I am eating right and excercizing and have been since he was 4 weeks old. What can I do to make this weight go away?? Could it be water weight?? I weighed 103 when I got pregnant and weighed 145 when I delivered.....a weight gain of 42 pounds but I was under weight so the docs said it was okay. Can anyone HELP???

Hi just wondering what is best to drink, can you have any soda i usualy drink diet. what is a good thing to drink, plz dont say wateer i hate it. dont like milk either but i gag it down cuz i know its good for baby.

what is good stuff to eat with lots of good stuff for baby?

Both of my daughters have a stomache bug and I know they're feeling horrible. I've given them warm baths, let them eat popsickles(the only thing they could keep down earlier), and cuddled with them. What else can I do for them? This is the first time they've really been sick. I've been giving them pedialyte as well. I feel terrible because both of them have been vomiting with diarhea. I just feel like I could be doing more.

I have 2 daughters one oin 1st grade , one in 2nd. I try to make them lunch everyday for school, but they are getting tired sandwhiches. What else can I send them that isnt hot but still healthy. They dont.have a way to heat anything up at school and a thermos wont fit in their bags. I need something simple and quick. I send a drink and fruit and a desert with them and they buy milk I just need something other than a sandwhich to send. PLEA.se Help!!!

I am 38 weeks pregnant and live with my boyfriend. I am on medicaid and WIC programs and have been unemployed since I lost my job at 28 weeks. When I filed for medicaid and WIC programs I filed as single not showing my boyfriend's income. My question is will I need to add boyfriend's income if I give my son my boyfriend's last name on the birth certificate instead of mine or will it matter?

Twenty-four-seven, I feel like a (dare I say it) dork. Yeah, I know. I don't look or sound like a dork. Well, maybe I do.

Anyways, anything I do: Hundreds in math, movements and looks, total dork control.

I was just talking with my husband about being a stay-at-home-dad. What the struggles might be and so on. Anyway, we got to the expectations--would stay-at-home-fathers be expected to keep a clean home or would the wife be in charge of that area?

I'm just curious. There's no way my husband could be a SAHF but it's fun to wonder what our lives would be like if he was. Thanks!

What do you think of the name Reis for a girl? It would be a middle name for either Amelia, Cora, Julia, Emily or Sara. It is a combination of Rena and Lois (Rena was my great-grandmother and Lois was my husband's grandmother).

Our 4 month old daughter will eventually go down for a nap (after walking her for 15-20 mins and/or nursing her right before)- but she only sleeps for like 40 mins and wakes up grumpy. She just can't seem to fall back asleep to complete her 1 1/2 hr. naps and is fussy and tired most of the day. She also will not go longer than 2-3 hour stretches at night... we've tried putting her in her crib while she's drowsy so she knows where she is, but she just wakes back up and seems wide awake or really pissed off to the point where she will not go back to sleep. Any suggestions?!! We've been giving her rice cereal before bed- that doesn't seem to help. We believe it's more than just hunger (if it's hunger at all). Thanks!

My mom is pregnant with #6 and she's in her 40's. She is about 6 weeks now, and I was wondering, at how many weeks along is there a very low risk of miscarriage?

Like, what is the number of weeks when you (if you will) "hit the safe mark"? Can you miscarry at 2 mo.? See, I don't know these things... hehe.
