Well i was never on the pill i was on depo and it took me and my husband almost a year to get pregnant almost 6 months after i stopped taking depo to get my period back, and i had take ovulation tests and i also took a herbal pill to help me ovulate that i bought online i had my doctor check it out and shes said it was fine to take, but you can buy ovulation tests by answer at the grocery or drug store like a walgreens or rite aid or something like that its a in a pink box and you basically pee on it and when youg et two dark lines your ovulating! and the herbal pills i took were called Ovulex and for the man it was Ambreso something like that but you can go to www.ovulex.com everyone else i know who took it got pregnant right away it took me 3 months of taking it to get pregnant though my cousin it took her 2 weeks and she was on the pill, you can also try to put pillows under your butt after sex to help the sperm navigate to your cervix and i heard eating lots of spiniach helps too with the foilic acid and taking pre natals to prepare your body for a baby so i hope this helps you and good luck and have fun in your baby making process~

First off.. Y u want a baby when ur 16?do u have a job.does he have a job.do u even know how much a baby costs?way more than u think. Do u have a place to live after the baby is born? Are u willling to get up every 3hours to feed the baby?(even in the middle of the night?? Do u have any money to get the crib diapers tub clothes toys bed mattress bottles bibs shoes baby towels baby washclothes stroller car seat blanket soundsoother highchair dresser changing table crib sheets mattress pads baby minuter baskets hamper. Caps baby shampoo and diaper rash cream wipes car shade diaper bag bounccer swing. Bottle brush burp cloths. Think about this.and that's not the whole list. Most of that is just fir the first 6months. It could be a false pregnancy. Take a pregnancy test. But thing about the financial needs fir the baby first before u go and think all yoour just getting out of the baby is a cabbage patch doll. Because a baby is your first priority. Think about this. If you think your ready then go fir it. But pregnancy au t always going to be a happy one. You and your boyfriend will get cranky and hormonal. People can just look at you the wrong way and you cry. You sand your boyfriend will snap at each other for no reason. Pleas reconcider this untilled your financially and mentally stable.if your not already pregnant.

I was on birth control pill (ortho tri cyclin) for about 5 years and I stopped taking it dec 2. That's when my last period started. Guess what...I'm 5 weeks pregnant now! which means that I was conceived a week after I stopped taking my pill! (and we had sex only twice: a week after period and the week after that) Well, it wasn't planned though. But I'm very excited! My friend actually wanted to have a baby. She got off the pill and got busy but she's still not pregnant. Her dr told her that it might take about 3 months.
So things happen when you are least expecting it!
Good luck!

It could take as long as a year for all the hormones to leave your system. I myself was on the pill for over 3 years and was only off of them for about 4 months before I got pregnant, and we were not even trying. So if you are sure you are ready to get pregnant, go ahead and stop taking them now. Relax and enjoy the "making" of the babies, and before you know it you'll be enjoying the babies themselves. Best of luck honey.

Stop taking the pill, "do it" a lot, and take a pregnancy test every month or so. Don't stress over specifics of timing. Making love isn't meant to be scientific. Keep at it, and eventually you'll be asking questions in the Baby Names section! Good luck. :)

My doctor said it could be immediate or not. It depends on your system and whether the egg is being released or grasps onto the uterine wall. She stated if we were not pregnant within 6-12 months to give her a call and we could run more test and figure something out. If you have sex at least every 3 days it increases your chances, since sperm is known to live from 3-6 days inside a woman.

just depends, being on the pill shouldn't make any difference, comsidering that you can still get pregnant sometimes on the pill anyway
just come off, have sex and all being well it'll happen
if it doesn't within a year, go to the doc's the 2 of you for a check up
