Some people say they need to be 1 or 2 before having egg whites. However I think that is BS.

Allegedly egg whites are allergenic.

"FEEDING EGGS TO BABIES

Many parents avoid including eggs in the diet of their babies because they worry about increasing the baby's cholesterol level, or producing allergic reactions.

Research from the Child Nutrition Research Centre in South Australia has shown that these fears are unfounded and that up to 4 egg yolks a week can improve the child's nutrition, especially if the baby had been initially bottle-fed. Cholesterol levels became similar to those in breast-fed infants and their overall nutritional status improved."

"Egg - well cooked. Try a small amount first. If there is a strong family history of allergies such as eczema or asthma, or if the baby has eczema, do not give egg, especially egg white, until 12 months."

At 1... egg yolks around 10 months and egg whites around 12, so scramble eggs should be ok at 1 if there are no allergies in the family.

you can give them egg yolk at 8 months and the whole egg at 12 months for allergy reasons. Mix the egg yolk with milk to make them enjoy it a little more

look you always do what you think is best. I started feeding my little girl smashed up fried eggs (with the yolk runny) when she was about 5 months old and formula wasnt filling her up anymore. Always smash it up so that it is runny and slimy that way it goes down easier and the child has less of a chance of choking . my little girl is now 14 months old and eats anything that we do. The only way your going to be able to see if your child is allergic to something is to feed it to them. At least thats what i think anyway i could be wrong but i havent heard anything about finding out if your child is allergic to something before hand.

You have to make sure they aren't allergic to eggs. I didn't feed my son eggs until he turned 1 and after his pediatrician OK'd it. You will still need to feed it in moderation to make sure there's no allergic reaction. That's the case with all foods, there's also a chance they can develop food allergies in the future.

The yolks are ok in the previous three hundred and sixty 5 days in spite of the undeniable fact that the whites in consumer-friendly words after three hundred and sixty 5 days as they're pretty allergenic. be sure they're completely cooked, no runny bits as eggs can carry salmonella.
