sure it's normal gain, but ppl r already asking ?'s. will i continue to get noticeably bigger, or will i have the same pooch for a while. and if i will, how long is awhile?

It's probably mostly bloating right now. You usually don't have to start wearing maternity clothes until your second trimester (third month.)
Remember you should only gain 25 - 35 ponds the entire 9 months, and pregnancy is not an excuse to eat everything in sight.

I am also 2 months prego with a pooch, but this is my 3rd baby. I have been told by a mother of 4 that my 4th pregnancy will show at 2 weeks. Hehe. Enjoy!

I knw this sounds gross, but I read that this early in pregnancy, it is probably just from distended bowls. Which means its not really related to the size of the baby or to weight gain so I don't think it is a predictor that yu will continue to "expand rapidly" Congrats on the baby though and don't let it bother you. I can't wait till I get a pooch. (I'm only 5 1/2 weeks)

That pooch you'r talking about is a little water retention mixed with your digestive system slowing down. It makes you feel and look bloated. Unless this is your second pregnancy, you always show faster in your second hehe. My little pooch lasted until 4 months then i definitly started to show.

Every woman's body reacts different to pregnancy. It is possible for you to continue to get bigger. With my first you couldn't tell I was pregnant until I was 7 months pregnant but with my second you could tell I was pregnant within the first three months. But my sister got really big throughout her whole pregnancy. She really didn't overeat she just had a really really big baby. So you really never know. Good Luck!

My niece started showing at 2 months, & it turned out she was pregnant with twins!

depends on your body. i didn't show until 3 months...but my bestfriend is preggo and 11 weeks and WOW!!
enjoy it. it lasts a short time in the skeem of things.

I thought this was a pet question.....if you are normal, you'll gain weight, it would be a trick if you couldn't.....
