I have my heart set on the name Jackson and its a tradition for the first born son to have the middle name Allen. Do you think he'll get made fun of?

No, Jackson's cute, but nobody will even know Allen would be his middle name. He won't be made fun of.

I think it's a nice name, and couldn't see any reason why people would make fun of it. Then I read some of the other answers and learned that there is a country singer named Allen Jackson. Is that why you're worried? By the time your kid is in school, I am sure nobody will even know who that country singer is. At least, none of the kids in the school will.

Name your kid whatever you like. You can never predict what will be made fun of. Kids tease each other for all kinds of things. I can't imagine that a name like Jackson would get picked on so much that it would make your kid's life miserable.

No, I don't think so. You'll have some people to say, "oh, Jackson Allen like Allen Jackson!" like you didn't know that connection but I don't think that it is a name that will be made fun of at all.

Jackson is a cute name. Jack is a great nickname. Allen flows well.

Go for it! SD

Love the name. If your worried about it sounding funny why don't you give him two middle names with Allen being the second like- Jackson Sean Allen. Just an idea.

Isn't Allen Jackson a country singer?
That's what I think of when i hear the name.
I think it would be ok if you changed the spelling to *Jaxon Allen*
or what about Jonah, Jason or Javon for J names.
Good Luck!
(Gavin) is nice too.
