What do you think of the name Reis for a girl? It would be a middle name for either Amelia, Cora, Julia, Emily or Sara. It is a combination of Rena and Lois (Rena was my great-grandmother and Lois was my husband's grandmother).

I love it! I think it's great that you are combining the names to get Reis. My favorites from the others would be Amelia Reis and Cora Reis. Love the name Cora!!!

I think it goes best with Julia. You might want to consider Emma Reis, instead of Emily. Too much long ee sounds in the two of them together. I wouldn't put it with either Cora or Sara because of the multiple r sounds together.

At first, I was gonna to say to spell in the traditional way of Reese. But after seeing the reason you are choosing it, I would say definately spell it Reis. The tribute to the grandparents/parents is always a special thing and the baby will have a connection in that way to her ancestors. And Reis will work nicely as a middle for any of those 1st names.

After saying all the names combined, one at a time of course, I thought they all went well together. And that was pretty creative to combine those two names...how did other combo variations come out? Either way, the names are very pretty together. Good luck!
