I have always been over weight my whole life. I need really had health problems and I go to the doctors regularly. I am 5'10 but 240lbs. Do you think it is safe to have a baby?

Every time I see a question about someone nursing a toddler I see a lot of answers that don't really answer the question but point fingers at the mother. Is the perception that we don't feed our children anything else and don't show them any other affection? I am nursing my 16-month-old daughter. She eats three meals a day, two snacks and can handle her own cup and spoon. She has never had a bottle or a pacifier. I also shower her with hugs, kisses, tickles and spend all of my time with her (I had an office job that I took home with me). All of the other mothers nursing toddlers that I talk to do the same. Why this misconception that we're some kind of creepy weirdos that do nothing but thrust our breasts at our children all day?? Let me tell you that they ask for it at this age....or just help themselves!!! Then there's the point of people thinking that we're creepy for "enjoying" it too much. Why wouldn't I enjoy such a close time with my daughter??

I'm only 10 wks pregnant but with our first child it took forever to decide on a name. At one point I actually called the hospital to see how long after the child was born we had to choose a name. We didn't decide until the night before he was born. We like strong traditional names. Even old fashioned names. We don't know the gender yet so all names are welcome. Nothing "new-ish" though.

My son is feeling some anxiety because his school guidance counselor & some teachers tell him he should know now (as he's a junior) where he wants to go to college and/or what he wants to do. He has many interests & is struggling with this & I think it's unreasonalbe for him to decide now. Any thoughts? Thanks

ok im almost 14 yrs old and my dad left me and my mom when i was 8 yrs old one day he called and i was 11 yrs old and it was the next day after my birthday and he said how old i was i got so mad but w/e so when i turned 13 he didnt call and he didnt call to say merry christmas or happy new year. one day he said he was gonna call me the next day and he never called now my aunt called my mom to tell her that my dad wanted to talk to me.

how likely is it to get pregnant if you're on the pill and take it at exactly the same time every day? i set my alarm every day at the same time and i take my pill between 7:00 and 7:01 every morning. i'm just freaked out cuz my mom's cousin's daughter just found out she's pregnant and she's on the pill and hasn't missed one or taken it at different times. so does this mean if i have unprotected sex during my "ovulation" time i could still get pregnant? even if he doesn't ejaculate in me?

I am 9 months pregnant and the baby is 9 pounds, if I don't go into labor within a week, the baby will be too big and I will have to have a C section. The doctors won't induce my labor untill I am 2 weeks overdue, so does anybody know any safe way to induce labor {herbal tea or something like that}?

i think that i might be pregnant but its too early to tell. and upon a physical self exam i noticed a slight change in my cervix. i learned that a plug is formed within 24 hours of conception and i would like to know if you can physically tell its there. i would like to know if i was pregnant asap because the father, my boyfriend just left for the military 4 days ago. and since then i noticed the change. if you have any help please let me know. i would appreciate it emensly!!

I am 8 weeks pregnant and have awful nausea and fatigue and insomnia as well which is real bad, plus the indigestion, constipation, you know all the good stuff. Well I have no energy probably from the lack of food I can keep in and I have 2 children to run after. I feel so overwhelmed with the housework and all the other stuff that needs to get done. How do you all handle it? I told my husband I'm ready to hire a housekeeper for a little while.

This is my first month off of birth control. (I was on Seasonale-you only get your period every 3 months) I'm not trying really hard to conceive, I just figure I'll let nature take it's course and if it happens, it happens. I don't know my cycle very well since I have been on birth control for 3-4 years. I started my period on Dec. 11 which would make my ovulation day 12/25. (if I have a 28 day cycle) I had intercourse 12/18 and 12/23. My nipples have been slightly tender to the touch for the last week or so. Starting today I've had a very small amount of brownish discharge. I'm wondering if this is implantation bleeding? Would this be about the right time for that if I was pregnant? And when would a HPT be accurate?

I'm 16 (almost 17) and I still call my mom mommy and my dad daddy. All my siblings, including my 18 year old brother do as well.
