yeah, that's okay. Just don't warm them in the microwave, becasue they can heat unevenly, making some parts too hot.
And congratulations!

Yes it is fine, for a month or two you probably will be up every 3 or 4 hours to feed her, you can keep a bottle in the freezer for 8-12 weeks, and you have 1-2 weeks with it in the fridge, you can keep the bottle out after you warm it for up to 3 hours. Witch is very handy! I wish you luck and hopefully you get sleep, you must be tired!

Congratulations on the baby!! The first week can be a bit overwhelming, but it all becomes second nature.
You can prepare formula ahead of time, as long as it hasn't been previously heated. There are several different things you can do.
1. You can prepare a few bottles and store them in the fridge and heat them as you want to.
2. You can prepare a small pitcher of formula and store it in the fridge.
3. You can fill a few bottles with room temperature or lukewarm water and leave them out on the counter. Whan the baby wakes up to eat, then add the correct amount of powder to the water and feed her. It can be convenient for your baby to become accustomed to room temperature formula so you don't have to heat bottles while travelling, shopping, etc.

It is ok to make the bottles ahead of time but just make sure you use them in a 24 hour period after making them. Also, once you start feeding you baby the bottle it's not a good idea to store what he/she didn't finish. Formula has a terrible shelf life, if you leave a bottle out for over an hour make a new one.
Check the label on the can, it usually gives some suggestions on how to serve.

I don't see why not.I used many types of bottles throughout
my babies ??? Babiness...lol...The small bottles are perfect for newborns. You can refrigerate your babies bottles .But don't re-refridgerate them or heat them especially if your baby is sick .You should not re room temp a bottle...or warm that is
once it has been .Unless you are certain it is still fresh..Atleast three to four bottles will help make
your life easier provided you have other young children and a husband running amok through out the household.
I used Evenflo mostly, the bottle's with the sterile bags .
They were easy to get unchilled,(under running hot water)
(Not fire like on stove)Very sanitary and sfe by means and of
the throw away bag.. And alot of the air problems a baby can swallow may have be illiminated .Why? because you can squeeze the air out. This bottle is great for newborns.Your newborn should only be drinking 2 to 3 ounces then within a week 4 oz of formula every two hours For like a week more.
If the formula is not working outr or satisfying your infant you pediatrician might recommend baby barley or some oatmeal
to thicken it..Usually you can tell iof the babies still hungry ..
When my man was a baby the formula suddenly held no satisfactiin for him.He was only just brought home. But in a few daysit was like he was starving. He would not sleep and wanted to suck on a bottle after he just finished one.So I was recommended to add babycereal oatmeal ,barley into his bottle
to thicken it... It worked ! But yes you can plan ahead whats the difference of formula in one clean sterile container to the next?

Umm you definitely need to date them, But I wouldnt recommend you to make a lot of bottles though. You it will be okay if you make about 8 bottles...depending on how much your baby eats and putting them in the fridge at night or that morning. And remember that after you warm up the bottles and feed the baby and they dont drink it all dont reuse the baby again later...Its not gonna be fresh that way. Its best just to read the formula it will tell you exactly what and how long it will last.

Aww, I was so scared my first night (s) too. You can prepare extra bottles. It comes in handy for when you're really tired in the middle of the night and need one and don't feel like mixing one up. I did it and still do for my 5 month old because he doesn't sleep all the way through the night yet. (Almost there!!!) But congratulations on the little one!

It is better to use a baby bottle warmer or some warmed tap water to warm the bottle (rather than microwaving)
Here's a link that has info on formula types, mixing tips and warming...

Here's a link for first time parents - it looks kind of helpful...

You can always call your doctor's office with questions or ask experienced mom's to give you some pointers too !
Hang in there and congradulations! Have fun getting to know your new little one!!!!

Yes that is fine, as long as it is used within 24 hours. Just be sure to be very careful when heating a bottle. Don't want to burn the little ones lips. Test it on your lip first. Seeing that is one of the most sensitive parts of you body, that may help. Just don't get it in you mouth. Kinda nasty if u ask me! :-) Congratulations. Enjoy that baby. They grow up fast.

I didn't formula feed, but if you are looking for the easiest route in the middle of the night, I would get the little jars of formula (the pre-mixed kind) and use those room temp for middle of the night feedings. But, it takes longer to warm a bottle than a freshly made one.
