i cant seem to get my 13 month old to fall asleep own his own or get him to sleep through the night~! I cant get him to go to bed until 3 in the morning and then he dont sleep through the night. I've tried the whole putting him to bed at 9 and then he just takes a nap and wakes at midnight and dont go back to bed until 4 in the morning. He also cant put himself to sleep own his own. I've tried putting him in his bed and checking on him as he cries but he just cries and cries. he doesnt ever go to sleep. Any suggestions???

My nursery colors are going to be mostly green and yellow, and I wanted to paint the room yellow. My mom says yellow is not a soothing color and wouldnt be calming.. What do you think? What colors are your nurseries?

I seem to be angry a lot, and I get really irratated w/ my boyfriend and his dog. I suffer from depression, and I am on 10 mg/day of Lexapro (which is half of my regular dose) since pregnant. Now at 20 weeks, I can't even get out of bed during the day. Anyone else experience this or have any advice on how to control this anger or get out of bed during the day?? thanks

I caught my 6 year old making my baby suck on his peepee. I have grounded him talked to him and am now at a loss. He says he saw that at his grandpa's on a cartoon. He also said he knew that it was wrong. But he does not feel guilty for doing it and is mad that his toys all got put up and that he can't play with them. Should I take him to councling??? What are my options I don't want him to think that he can get away with this behavior. I asked my mom and she said this is typical of little boys is this true? HELP!!!!

Also he seems more interested in television than us. He does not respond if we call him and his attention is in something else like tv or play. Is this okay? How do I change it if its not?

I have have a son that is 21months and his father wants to be in his life but, 1st thing he punched me in the stomache while i was pregnent and caused me to have him prematurely 2end After becomming pregnent and all this happens I found out his daughter was to his sister (he admitted it ) and he was ordered not to see her but he does, they where ordered not to tell her but they did .I feel like My son didn't ask to be put in a sisuation and the world today is already cruel and he shouldn't have to go through this too, and As I seen it and the assalt charges came out the judge and Dr's agree that he could have killed my son or gave him brain damage, luckily he's fine, he had heart problems and breathing problems when he came but after a yr of consent worry and attition he's fine Thank God.What do you think though I grew up without my dad around and it hurt , but not anything like this.

I was on the pill last year before I got pregnant (Marvelon) and went to see a doctor because I was getting bad cramps, spotting blood, headache and nausea, he told me I was allergic to the pill and took me off it without any tests, after I quit taking the pill, i only spotted for a day, then the middle of October I was getting symptons of being pregnant I took a test and it turned positive with in seconds i went to the doctor for a blood test and my hormone level was a bit higher then average at the estimated time of pregnancy. They told me my dues date was June 13th, and my son was born May 23rd he was 8 lb 1oz they say he was 3 1/2 weeks premature, could it be that i was already pregnant at the time they took me off the pill and that was why i was sick, not a allergic reaction at all?? Has this happened to anyone else???

1- I am having quite a time finding a prenatal doctor and finally have decided to go to the city to see one that came reccomended by a midwife. So when I go in to see him, should I metion right away that I am dizzy and thus off of work (a physical job that includes transfering patients).. and that i need an extenstion on my medical leave. I want to make a good impression, but at the same time, my boss doesn't want me there if I am dizzy... but I need a note. I don't want to seem like I am breezing into a new doctors office just to get time off.. it is not like that at all

2- when I have my file transfered... will the old doctor be ticked off, cause he has already transfered my stuff twice, this will be the third.. he transfered my test results once and my summary to another clinic and now I am asking for another release of my file... is that too much to ask of a doctor I only saw a few times just cause he ordered my tests?

Whenever I am wearing a tank top and some of my stomach shows, I always catch my mom looking at my stomach. Is she looking to see if I look pregnant? As far as I know, I am not pregnant by the way. She has been doing this a lot lately.

Looking for a cute idea of how to tell my mom and dad they are going to be grandparents, this is an expecialy special ocasion because my dad is very sick with cancer, has been fighting it for 2 years now. He said just the other day that he would like to see a grandchild before he (no good way to say it) dies.

I am a little concered about the affect on the baby and I, if something should happen to him, the emotional upset etc? any suggestions on either topic.

Excue my spelling :-)

(we are pretty certin were expecting, of course we wont tell them until we are sure, going to get a blood test to confirm)

my last perios was December 30th till the 3rd. 5 days. my normal periods are 7 days long. I did have my normal cramps and i also had a heavy period for 1 day then it went from that to the brown stuff you would get at like the end of your period and thats all it was for 4 days. my period was on time and im very regular. But even before my period i was very tired. and now after my period i am extreamly tired. i sleep 10 hours and im extreamly tired at night. i have heard of woman getting there periods and didnt know they were pregnant. could this be happing to me. my mother had hers for the first 3 months as well. im not stressed or depressed or anything i did have sex during the days of my last ovulation period. and im still cramping.

please not rude comments. and if anyone has storys about someone who had this and been pregnant?

I am having a difficult time getting my daughter to sleep in her crib at night. I don't have a problem getting her to sleep, but once I put her in her crib, she'll wake up 10 minutes later and will refuse to go back to sleep. It's my fault, I know it is. She's been pretty sick a few times since she was born and the only way she would sleep was if I was holding her. Then (please don't judge me I know it's not a good idea at all) but she started sleeping in the bed with us, because I couldn't hold her all night long! I can not bear to have her sitting in her crib crying, even for a few minutes. I don't know what to do! If she sleeps with me she'll sleep all night long and I love that, but I don't sleep well for fear of rolling over on her!! I have also tried putting her in her crib right before she falls asleep but when I lay her in there her eyes pop right open and she's suddenly wide awake. I don't know what to do!! Plz help! :) Thanks.

LAST MONTH I GOT MY PERIOD ON THE 3RD IT LASTED FOR THREE DAYS. THEN IN CAME BACK ON THE 30TH AND LASTED FOR THREE DAYS ALL WELL (went off on the 2nd). I HAVE NEVER HAD TWO PERIODS IN ONE MONTH BEFORE. MY PERIODS HAVE ALWAYS COME ON TIME. THINKING I WAS PERGNANT I TOOK 2 TESTS, BOTH NEGATIVE. TODAY IS THE 5TH AND MY NIPPLES FEEL ALITTLE SORE. I STARTED GETTING HEADACHES AND NAUSIA AT NIGHT (no vomiting) I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK. HAS THIS HAPPEND TO ANY ONE BEFORE?

i got a depo shot back in july of 06, in oct of 06 i was suppose to get my second shot deciced not to cause i didnt like the way it made me feel. the first on the shot i had no period then at the end of august i spotted the last 2 weeks then in sep and oct nothing. So my oeriod finally came back on nov. 30-dec 5, but during that week of dec 5 i had unprotected sex. my period for this month wsa due on the 2nd and it didnt come, so i was wondering could this be depo side effects or a possible pregnancy. i go to the doc on the 23rd, but i need some advice, maybe someone else went through this also, oh i took a test 2 days after i missed my period but it came out neg.

i think i may be pregnant...first time :)...but i had my period last month it seemed normal just a little shorter about 4 days...that was about mid december...now i have definitely gained weight and all day today i have been really sick and having little cramps and i felt like i was going to puke at dinner tonight :( could this be it?! am i pregnant?? im excited...so what do you guys think??
