Yellow isn't really the best colour for a nursery, but thats just my opinion, I went with Winne the Pooh, and when I had everything for my son's nursery my 2 sister-in-law's did their babies nurserys the same and so did a few other ppl I knew...(never again) I just have white paint on my sons walls with pictures, and the stick on wall decorations it looks pretty nice, mostly blue colours but i wish i had've waited cause I like blue for boys and pink for girls (sounds weird i know) but its up to you, what ever you think your baby will like

Yellow is a good color... My nursery is my husbands old room... Two walls make up the American flag and the other two make up the Texas flag, so I guess that means mines all Red, White, and Blue:)

my nursery i wanted something different so i painted each wall a different color lite-blue,soft green l-pink soft yellow and a soft white.
you can find the prettiest blankets that have all the colors in it and hang it above the crib or drap over a rocking chair the colors looks so goood together and they have rabbits that looks like drawing to put on the walls.
i wanted my baby to have a peaceful room full of color just for him it ended up being a place were we spent most of our time from reading to playing.
last i seen landend has the rugs to match..
my son today he is 5 wants his playroom and bedroom different colors i like to think its because i gave him different colors from birth on .
but take it from me what ever you decide to do take something and make it you.
everyyear i made his birthday i would pratice all year and now if you ask if he wants to buy the cute cakes in the store he'll say no lets make?? or talk about the water slide cake from last year and add new details we could do..with kids they love when you make something just for them like a nursery when we look at pictures he'll say mommy did you really take time to find just the right blanket for my bed or stuff animal to put in that cornor.
hope that helped....good luck

my nursery was a yellow one. It all depends on the shade you use. Yellow that screams neon will not be soothing but a pale butter yellow is just great.

I think it really depends on the shade of yellow that you choose. A nice soft pastel yellow, as opposed to primary colours would be lovely for a baby's room.

My niece's nursery was yellow with a Noah's Ark theme, worked great. As long as it isnt a bright yellow, its fine.

yellow is a very nice color for a nursery.
I wouldn't use a bold primary yellow though, maybe lean more towards a pastel yellow. But, i think that was already mentioned.
Also, to some people bold colors are relaxing. And they are also very stimulating to baby.
