1- I am having quite a time finding a prenatal doctor and finally have decided to go to the city to see one that came reccomended by a midwife. So when I go in to see him, should I metion right away that I am dizzy and thus off of work (a physical job that includes transfering patients).. and that i need an extenstion on my medical leave. I want to make a good impression, but at the same time, my boss doesn't want me there if I am dizzy... but I need a note. I don't want to seem like I am breezing into a new doctors office just to get time off.. it is not like that at all

2- when I have my file transfered... will the old doctor be ticked off, cause he has already transfered my stuff twice, this will be the third.. he transfered my test results once and my summary to another clinic and now I am asking for another release of my file... is that too much to ask of a doctor I only saw a few times just cause he ordered my tests?

I agree you should find a doctor you are comfy with. I 'settled' for one & I only see him for about 3 minutes -the nurses usually answer any questions I have & the doctor doesnt go over any tests or lab results with me.
Im due in less than 20 days and I wish months ago I was able to go to a different doctor.

the new doctors office should do what is necessary to get the files transferred-- you shouldnt be involved in that in any way-so I wouldnt worry about if he gets mad or not.

your doctor may be annoyed at transfering again.. but it is his job and he is getting paid big bucks to do his job. But really, I am sure he won't care after the job is done. And it certainly won't make him down for a week. In fact, he probably won't give it a second thought once it is done.

As for the doctor.. tell him everything. Get your file transfered before you go.. so he can see that you are off already and why.. that will help build rapport with the new doctor.. good luck!

Is there a reason you keep transfering?? I hope it isn`t just because he won`t give you the note to get out of work..Try and find a doctor you will like and stay with...Good luck
