I know exactly what you are talking about... it takes forever. I am 36 weeks and it feels like the backache, heartburn and other things will never stop!!! I can't wait for it to be over and hold my little boy.

I was totally ready for it to be over at this exact time - 35weeks... until I was hospitalized and they did induced me immediately. I had preeclampsia and everything went wrong in a matter of days.

My son was in the NICU for 26 days with several near death experiences that I won't take the time to elaborate on... thank God he is completely normal now at almost 5 years old.

When I think about how miserable and irritated I was at 35 weeks but then seeing my son on life support within a day... I would have traded anything for my son to have been able to go to full term and I would have loved to have endured all the discomfort in the world.

I wish you a safe and healthy pregnancy and delivery! All this discomfort is soooo worth it!

Yes and no! I am 33 weeks and would just like to be able to get a decent night's sleep again! On the other hand, I want our little girl to develop and grow more. This is our second and I don't remember not being able to sleep with our first. I just get so frustrated! I am soooo exhausted but can't sleep! Oh well. It will be worth it...for all of us...when we hold these beautiful and healthy babies in our arms!

I am almost 39 weeks. Today at my appt my doc said that she is ready to be born. He can strip my membranes now or we could discuss inducing on Monday. I panic'd and said no to both!! I walked out of there, called my friend and have been kicking myself all day! Who says no when they are offered to be induced?! Yesterday I would've begged for it. Today I just didn't feel like it. IN fact, he said I could have my next appt on Monday and we'd discuss it again then. I said I would rather have my appt on Thursday...I have another appt already on Wednesday that I have to go to! Weird huh? I have been ready for weeks. ANd then my chance comes and goes and I say NO!!
