We're considering Elizabeth for our baby, but aren't sure if we should call her Elizabeth or give her a nickname. There's a lot of Anna, Ella, Abby, Emma, etc around here, so Elle and Ella are out.

I'm trying to be good and stay away from the fast food and all....but I am realllllly craving a burger or something! It's hard to stay on this healthy diet without going broke! What fast food places should I stay away from and which ones will be good enough to eat? I am 6 weeks and I know the first 3 months are the most critical....or am I worrying over nothing since I have been eating soooo good so far....is one night of fast food gonna hurt?

So I am 9 weeks pregnant...I've been doing really well, no spotting nothing to out of the ordinary (I think..) I've been staying away from caffeine drinks, smoking and those that do I don't go around them. Well I thought hard about going to a bar last night because of the fear of the smoke.... but others around me felt that it would be okay just once to get out and since I'm not around it all the time I should be okay. Well I'll admit, I did drink one beer. Just one. I have not drank anything alcoholic since I've known of my pregnancy except for last night, I tend to never do it again.... but now this morning and all today I've had lower back pain. I've never had that through my pregnancy.... I've heard that's normal?? I don’t know. Am I just being really paranoid of a miscarriage or am I okay?

I have had previous pregnancies but this time my morning sickness is all day and night. I can barely eat a thing, I am so very exhausted that I could basically sleep all day and night. I am 7 weeks pregnant and with my other pregnancies I have not nearly been this sick. It is very hard to hide the fact that I'm pregnant because I am so sick and I still don't want to tell people until the first trimester is over because I have miscarried before. Why am I so sick? Anyone have any answers or similar experiences?Thank you in advance.

Okay, I am pregnant with my second baby and I'm gonna be 40 wks on the 3rd of January...I saw my doctor on the 28th and he said that he isn't gonna let me go past 41 wks so within the next two wks we are gonna have a baby for sure. I am not dilating at all, so almost sure that I am gonna have to be induced. With my first child I went into labor a week and a half before she was due and had her all natural, so I don't know what indution feels like....everyone tells me that it hurts soo muh more and it increases the risk of having to have a c-section. Walking is not an option for me because of the horrible pains I get ALL over my stomach when I do and well sex hasn't been very appealing to me so what else can I do to avoid needing to induce...
whos had to induce? How did it feel? Was it worse? Did yours end up in a c-section?

Unfortunately, the day after I arrived home from the hospital with my newborn, we had a visitor who had cold symptoms. Two days later everyone in my house was suffering with the same cold symptoms. I truly didn't want my baby to get anything. I think he is fine so far but I need to take something. I'm having a runny nose and sinus pressure. Achy eyes and a little stiffness.

I am 37 weeks. I was in the hospital christmas eve with pressure in my vagina and having contractions. I am still having the pressure in my vagina every now and then. I was dilated a finger tip when I went in. I was just wondering I have had to pee a lot today but it is a little bit at a time. How would I know if my water might have broke? This is my first pregnancy and dont really know. Thank you for your help

My partner and I have sex on average around 4 times in any given week; and have been for the past 16 months. We do not use any real bith control, beyond pulling out... I was wondering what the probability of pregnancy is if the man pulls out everytime, neither of us are much worried about getting pregnant we plan on getting married; but it seems to have been working so far, and yes I know about pre ejaculate, but I just wanted to know the probability.

I hope this doesnt sound dumb, but how do you know the difference between "REAL" contractions and braxton hicks? I have noticed lots of contractions and they come often, but they dont hurt. I assumed they were braxton hicks. However, I was informed by an OB nurse that at this stage in my pregnancy they shouldnt be braxton hicks. Despite the fact that they are frequent, they dont hurt. I was expecting something far worse then this. My question is when should I go to the hospital? I dont want to be one of those people who go in 50 million times for no reason! Did anyone go into labor and not really know? Is it possible for contractions to be really close together, and still not hurt? AM I GOING CRAZY???

My husband and I have 3 kids together. Each one was conceived while I was actively on birh control. After my last daughter (now 2) was born, he didn't agree on me having my tubes tied. Now I have a positive test while taking Seasonale birth control. My last period was Oct. 13th and isn't due till the week of Jan. 14th. He blames me. How can I get him to see it wasn't my fault and get him to brighten up about the situation?
