Im not sure where you can find a cheap adoption agency, but i just had to let everyone know that this very question proves my point.....Everybody who is for abortion is always saying,"look at how many kids we already have in foster care, or are waiting to be adopted" Well i always tell them that this is why! I dont understand why you have to shell out so much money to adopt a child that needs a home, on top of how much it cost to raise them. Maybe more people would adopt, and people like you who cant have a child of there own would have one. I dont know, i just think its wrong to charge somebody who desperatly wants a child so much money....it should be FREE! Sorry i couldnt answer your real question, i just had to get that off my mind. But good luck, and i hope you can eventually adopt, or even have one of your own someday!

how about going the way of a state agency and maybe becoming a foster parent at first ? you would do all the things would have to do adopt, and you don't have to put up all kinds of money for the baby, in fact as you become a foster parent you get a stipend for the child ( clothes and what not , not much) and all you have to do is prove you have a viable income background checks and prove that you have a place separate from your own to sleep and play and not share a room with anyone else ( and it can't be a pull out in the living room)
Sometimes tho I do worry about those poor kids, cause these kids need someone to love and care for them as if there were any other "adoptable " child I don't know how so many unsavory people become foster parents and no one cares
and once you do become a foster parent it become easier to adopt and become a forever family
state agencies have websites, and they show the kids as well ..
there is also websites that if you can find a legitimate woman who is pregnant all you need is to pay for either medical expenses or there living expenses,( but not pay for the baby itself) but you have to aquire a lawyer and such

You can always attempt to adopt through foster care. Though this is not a costly approach, it is emotionally taxing because guarantees are not given. Besides, as a foster parent you must be prepared to parent children who have endured abuse and neglect and may possibly be reunited with their parents or another family member. It's not a discouragement, but it is a fierce reality that is often overlooked (I know, I'm a former foster parent, now adoptive mom).
Another option is to consider telling friends, family and everyone that you know about your desire to adopt. Work feverishly to research adoption agencies. If your family is willing to consider a special needs child or minority, the cost of your adoption will be significantly reduced.
Adoption was the best choice I have ever made, and one though costly was worth every penny. I couldn't imagine life without my little angel.
By the way, GOOD LUCK!!!!!

In our state (Minnesota) you can adopt a child or sibling group that need homes that are currently in foster care for little or no money if they have any kind of special need. That special need is often that they have been in foster care too long, or that they want to be adopted with a brother or sister, or maybe they have ADHD. In addition, if you adopt this way, they will pay for the child's medical care until they are 18. There is an exhibit every year about it at our local county fair. Read this article: http://www.mnadopt.org/Downloads/DHS_Finding_Homes_MWC.pdf
Do a search on google for whatever your state is plus kids who need homes; like this " Nebraska kids who need homes" and so on.

I have a friend who went through a local lawyer. The lawyer kept in touch with our local area hospitals and they would let her know when a mother would want to put the babies up for adoption. This takes time and patience. It probably took them a couple of years and it is hard to be picky of the race you may want. They love their children, just as if they had given birth to them. It has been a blessing.

You can try posting an ad in the newspaper or contacting the local churches. Sometimes families will first go to their Minister or Priest for guidance. I know a couple of families who adopted this way. Best of luck to you!

You could try a privatized adoption. My parents did that with me and it worked well. I have a loving family as a result and I now have my own child to love.

Please check www.myivfalternative.com and click treatment costs. You can get IVF for $1,500. The whole package of travels, hotel, driver, IVF and medication for under $6,000. That's less than a third the cost of the IVF places we were quoted in the US. Hope this helps.
