how long does it take for you to take an epidural during labor? what if you needed it and their not giving it to you?

recently i have had a few questions about my son and so far everyone has been helpful. i think my son has been taking my magazines(victorias secret)and i keep finding them hidden around the house i found one in the bathroom and thought that i had left it there but i also found another in his room....is this normal behaviour? should i let him look at these? do i want them back?lol..can any other mothers help me from experience?

I know of several of my compatriots who adopted children born to unwed mothers in their churches, but my wife and I would like to adopt a child from an orphanage. The problem is, we are in Korea, an we could be here for many more years. I am fully aware of the requirements of getting citizenship for my adopted child, but the actual adopting is the problem. Does anyone know where I can start?

hi i had my membrane sweep 3 days ago and have lost my mucus plug. In the middle of the night i had 2 hours of really painful contractions at 8 minutes apart. they were painful in my front and back and i had to take paracetamols and a water bottle to ease pains. now they have virtually stopped and im having the odd scattered ones does anyone know what this indictaes and if this can happen during true labour? i no its not braxton hicks as i had them for months now and its completely more painful. the pain is mostly in the bottom part of my stomache .

i Know some of you may think this is a silly question, but i'm pregnant for the first time, and paranoid about everything lol. What i'm wondering is when your waters break, do you automaically begin having contractions, and is there a specific feeling you get when your waters are breaking? basically i'm worried that they could break when you go to the toilet or are in the bath and would there be any chance you wouldn't know??

My doctor is planning on tieing my tubes after I have my second son Jan 2nd. He said, If I didn't get my tubes tied that my uterus would rupture and kill the baby and I next time I try and get pregnant. So I thought it best for my sons and I if I do that. What happens in this process and will anything change after that? I am only 22 I feel so young to have something done like this, but I don't wanna risk dieing and not seeing my 2 boys grow up.

Hello,

I was just wondering if there is a possibility of being pregnant. My period is a week late, but I have been experiencing period pains since Christmas eve. I've also been exhausted lately, feeling nauseas alot, I've gone of certain foods- really fussing. Some foods make me sick.
I've been getting "pulling" in my abdomin aswell. Alot of back/leg ache. I've also been dizzy and fainting alot. My boobs aren't sore though- no more than usual anyway.
I am sexually active.

Hi, this is my second pregnancy I didnt get to find out my daughter was a girl till 19 weeks. I had a 3D ultrasound done 2 days ago, and the lady used the 2d to look at its sex parts and said it was a girl.. And that she was pretty sure it was a girl. She pointed out the parts even though it was really hard to tell being that 2D makes baby small looking compaired to 3D. And it looked like two lines insted of 3 like what my daughter said. The ultrasound tech said there was no pee wee or anything hanging from baby when they got a shot of it sitting on a table like shot.. (thats how they like to find out sex) She wouldnt let me get a glimps on it at 3D of its parts.. BUt I think its a boy still its just that motherly feeling. I knew my daughter was a girl before I got a U/s..

due to medical reason's. I've been really clucky and would love another baby but I know the medication I'm on can cause major birth defects or during labour, my death. Do you think getting a small dog would fix my wanting another baby. My only daughter is just about to start school.

AFTER VISITING MY GYN ON WEDNESDAY I WAS TOLD MY CERVIX IS OPENING. ON JUNE 23 06 I HAD A PREMATURE BABY OF 22 WEEKS. I AM NOW 22 WEEKS PREGNANT AGAIN AND MY CERVIX IS ALREADY OPENING. THEY TELL ME IF I CAN MAKE IT 5 MORE WEEKS THERE WILL BE A CHANCE THAT IF THE BABY IS BORN PREMATURE WHICH THEY ARE EXPECTING IT CAN SURVIVE. I AM ONLY 23 AND DONT FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT IS GOING ON. I AM AT HOME ON STRICK BED REST AND IF BY NEXT WEEK I OPEN MORE I WILL BE ADMITTED TO THE HOSPITAL. I ALREADY LOST ONE CHILD AND I DONT WANT TO GO TROUGH THIS AGAIN.
WHAT EXACTLY IS GOING ON AND WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF A 27 WEEK BABY SURVIVING
MY GYN SAID DOING A CERCLAGE IS TOO RISKY AT THIS POINT

I cant take the Antacids due to the other Medication I am taking. The can have a bad reaction and I just cant risk it. I am 29 weeks and Baby is pushing up on my stomach causing me to have horrible heartburn. I am on Very Strict Bedrest so I cant sit up for long periods of time or get up and walk around.
I cant sleep and hope that there is something I can Eat or Drink to help?

I totally appreciate when people are friendly with my children, but its like when my kids throw fits, I want them to know that what they are doing is wrong and the will receive a punishment for it, but everytime we are at wal-mart and one of my kids throw a tantrum, there is always some lady with a wal-mart vest on, and a handful of stickers saying ohhhhhhh whats wrong sweetie? do you want a sticker? I do not reward my kids for being brats, why cant people respect that, especially why cant wal-mart employees respect that?

i have already asked this but i added more so here we go.im 16yrs old and i ejaculated on my girlfriends underwear. it was only a spot about the size of a 5 cent coin but it was where her vagina sits.we heard sperm dies in heat so we dried them with a hair dryer and then we didnt wash them but just wet the spot of sperm a little bit. we then dried them in the dryer so the water dryed up. we then used the hair dryer again to make sure the sperm was dead. from the time the sperm touched her panties to when she put them back on it was about 1 hour after. is there any chance of her becoming pregnant. plz answer fast im really worried and then we can take the mornin after pill b4 its too late.the sperm that fell was inside her underwear so it would have being touching here vagina as i said we dryed them in a dryer and with a hair dryer and they were dry to what we could tell. so is there any chance at all of prenacy. im really worried as my GF thinks abortion are wrong and would never doit
