I don't think you should keep such magazines around, or at least out of your son's reach. this could escalate into some pornography addiction. just one idea from the magazine, just one search, just one click on the link, and he's addicted. it depends how old he is, really. if he's 12ish that is not so bad, maybe he's just curious. for around 18 it's rather worrying, you should talk to him about it. were the magazines hidden or within sight? perhaps he is testing you. if he didn't want to be caught with those he would have hidden them real well. I suggest you confront him and talk to him about it.

what is your son's age? the answer will differ accordingly

if between 11-14, this is the puberty time, he will find changes on his body which will make him eager to know if everyone else is going through the same thing, maybe the reason why he is looking at the books, and also as the change in women is very noticeable due to change in the breast size, this too increases a boy's eagerness at this stage/age.(to young for magazine's)

if between 15-18, this is the time when one discovers his/her sexuality and also those 'sexual arousal'. Please ask you husband to speak to him about 'masturbating', which is not a bad thing to do at this age, he might get embarrassed talking to you. He can talk to him about sex and give him the required knowledge, after which he might stop looking at the magzines

He´s 15, that is totally normal. And it´s Victoria Secret as you said, nothing nasty or freaky. You certainly don´t want him to go for internet p*rn instead, believe me.
15 is an age where he´s trying out his sexuality without having to take it seriously. Girlfriends are complicated, Victoria´s angel are just stunning.... I´m a woman and I don´t really like the idea of that anyway, but hey. He´s a boy.

This is completely normal behavior. I would actually advise against confronting him about it, firstly because his curiosity at puberty is normal and secondly because if you confront him, in all likelihood, it will lead to other unwanted results. First off, he isn't trying too hard to hide them from you if you are able to find them. It's always an advantage for the mother to be able to trace her child's routines by picking up clues here and there. You want your child to have a certain level of comfort, and not develop an anxiety for hiding things in least likely places.
If you confront him, he may continue to take your magazines but instead of leaving them in the bathroom where you are used to finding them, he may hide them from you in the way that I mentioned. He may also develop a sense of guilt toward his impulses and try to suppress those, and these are dangerous for his psychological development as they may lead to abnormal obsessions and behaviors. Additionally, he may learn to hide other things from you (e.g. not telling you whether his friends smoke, hiding his bad grades etc.) Don't let him develop a hiding habit.
Plus, as I said earlier, this is normal behavior, and part of his hormonal development and there is nothing at all to worry about.

Ya it is normal behavior but if think it is better for him to look at victoria secret magazines than be looking at dirty hard porn on the internet. Dont be too hard on him if you know for a fact that he is.

Its normal for a teen son to look at magazines like these i mean its not porn magazines so u shouldnt worry about its normal, it happens during puberty when all ur hormones are raging out of control. so leave it but when it comes out of control like him becoming obsessed with porn even though he isnt buying then u should confront him too much porn can be unhealty!

what age is your son.? i would think that this is a natural reaction if he has seen the magazines lying around or anything then he is obviously going to be curious about them, its all a part of growing up. i dont think he is going to come to or cause any harm to himself or anyone by looking at your magazines like i said he will be curious about them.

It's quite normal. If you're married you might find that your husband has a few of these magazines as well.

it is perfectly normal... every boy experiences this.... much better to just be looking at magizines, then to be out in the real world taking his chances..... there isnt much you can do... but in a few years, you or his father give him a sex talk, and show him the importance of condoms... even if you dont approve of him having sex... he'll do it wether you want him to or not
