I did a preg test last night (First Response) but I realized after I did it with the results window facing away from me (down)...I'm pretty sure I was supposed to do it with the results window facing up. It came negative, but I am wondering if that affects the result? Thanks!

Is it normal to be this early in the pregnancy and showing this much? People are actually able to point it out when they see us out and about. This is her first pregnancy and it seems that with most girls showing this early it is their 2nd or 3rd, etc etc. She is very petite, 5'5", 125 lbs. Could it be that she is actually further along even though that last month she did have her regular period? (We have heard that it is possible to be pregnant and still have your period, is this true/common/etc?)

I've heard many girls mention this, as well as my step mother. But some lame friend of mine who happens to be a male thinks otherwise. But, I've heard of numerous ladies saying that they would bleed, thinking they still had their period.

I know that the implantation can start anywhere from 5-12 days past ovulataion, but how long does ittake for the egg or whatever it's called to burrow inside the lining? Is it like a 2 or 3 day thing or a matter of a few minutes.

I was having what I thought might be implantation cramping on 6 dpo and a little on 7 dpo. Thanks for your help! Any site sources would be appreciated too!

I am about 10 days past ovulation and yesterday and today I have been having mild cramping sensations and little twinges I didn't think much of it until today when I started feeling really sick in the middle of eating anything. I have no appetite what so ever. I was in the car driving home from the store when I just got the urge to puke I pulled over thinking I was going to but nothing happened. For the last few hours I have been having the worst headache imaginable with alot of increased cervical mucus I am still having the sensation like I am going to puke, my basal body temps are all above coverline and have been for the last 10 days. yesterday morning there was a big dip and then it shot back up higher than any other temps on the chart. Since my ovulation was late I was supposed to start today but because it was delayed it should be here by Tuesday!! So when do you think I should test since today was the official day i was supposed to start WHAT COULD BE MAKING ME FEEL THIS WAY???

I am currently 27 weeks pregnant. This is my first baby and I want to breast feed. Please read all the way through and answer ALL the questions I have. My mother and my grandmother apparently both had problems with their milk "coming in" and not producing enough...does that mean I will not have enough milk? People keep saying that my colostrum should be in by now...but it is not..is that normal? How do you know if you are producing enough milk for your baby? If your baby gets up every hour on the hour to eat..does that mean you are not producing enough?? Any good websites or advice..or just general info would be helpful. Thanks

my boyfriend wants to have a baby, but i don't know if he's serious about us. i want him to be there for me after we actually have the baby. i'm afraid to give him what he wants, because i think i might be punishing him for what my dad did to my mom abandoned my sister and i when we were really young girls. I love this guy so much and would do anything to make hime happy. i'm not saying that i don't want to have a this baby cause i do, but i everytime i try to ask if he's serious he says yes and he'll be there for me and the baby, but i'm not sure if i believe him what do you think i should do with a situation like this? i honestly love this guy to a pulp and he says he loves me too, i know it's not your decision, but i need someone elses opinion. can you guys help me.

It's always been normal in my family to sleep naked now im 15 i think it may not be. my parents never let me go on a sleepover and i didnt feel like i wanted to until i was 15we go on holiday a lot and travel around a lot so i didnt make many friends.i was at a school camp and girls and guys could sleep in the same dorms.
it was 12 and we were getting ready for bed and i took off my clothes after they turned the lights out and hopped into bed. all of a sudden someones torch flicked on and every1 was on teh ground playing some sort of truth or dare game. i came down to play and then everyone started yelling and covering their eyes and laughing. i didn't understand it, i thought they must've been getting undressed later.i was really embarassed didnt realise how odd it was so i went back up to bed and then a teacher came in and everyone jumped back in bed. then this guy i really liked came in to my bed he was naked too and we had some fun and i felt a bit better but is this odd?

My husband and i have a hard time getting our older children to listen, they take their time about doing things, they bring home bad grades, they don't do there chores right, and they always want to ask for something, We have taken everything from them to where they dont have anything, We talk to them on a daily basis, and it just doesn't seem like anything is working, they have been punished so much they are used to not watching movies, talking on the phone or playing video games. the ages are 14, 12, 10 and this has been going on for years and we have tried everything and still nothing has changed, Can someone please help us out?We would appreciate some ideas that other people have tried and work. Has your S.O come up with any goofy names yet? If so, what are they?
My boyfriend has a daughter named Celesta. Yesterday he said he wants to name his next child (if it is a boy) Charles Lester, so people would call him C. Lester. (Corny joke drum sound). After he said that he gave me the "please aknowledge that was funny and tell me I did good" look. All I could do was stare in disbelief! He thinks he is so funny!
(I had to burst his bubble unfortunately and let him know that if we're having a boy I've already picked out the name Ethan Michael).

Lately I have been getting worried about my financial situation down the line, (right now I totally depend on a man, a money controlling one) I want a job, but the BIG problem is He will not pay for a day care (he makes over 90,000 a year) and retorts with "why do you need a job" insecurity at its finest.
So now tell me please, how do I get a job if I cant get daycare?
He is a big dink anout me working and earning my own money so much so it ends up in huge fights till 3 am!
He is the most unsupportive thing I have ever seen.
I thought couples should support each other in what they want in life, not make the other feel like a bad mother.
I really dont know what to do. I am 26 and I dont want to be dependant 100 % on a man when I am 30!
I feel like a loser. I got pregnant because he lied about wearing acondom, I found out about 20 seconds into the act when it didnt feel right. We were having sex for a year before he lied to me, I didntthink he would lie about that!

I have been on ortho novum 1/35 for 10 months and not missed a pill,but I think that I might be pregnant because of my symptoms. This will be my second baby so I know what pregnancy symptoms are.

1.) When you have a miscarriage early in your pregnancy, is it possible you won't need to get a D&C? How early would you have to be (in terms of weeks)?
2.) Is there such a thing as being too far along for a D&C, and if so how many weeks would that be? And what else would have to be done?

me and my boyfriend were virgins and we had sex now we do it like crazyand have had sex with out condoms(were both faithful so no stds) and i went to get on birth control and that was before the first month that i missed so in order to take the birth control the oral one i had to have my period well i didnt .. the last one i had was oct 16 and on dec 16 i had slight spotting but that was it nothing else i did take a pregnacy test 5 days before my first missed period the first response but it came out negative and i took another a week later it was also negative !! but still no period!! do you think im pregnant ? is precum a worry too ?

he's ignoring me he will barely even touch me and he never wants sex anymore. i've given up on even trying and i feel terribly emotional about this. sometimes i cry myself to sleep and he doesn't notice that either.
