I did a preg test last night (First Response) but I realized after I did it with the results window facing away from me (down)...I'm pretty sure I was supposed to do it with the results window facing up. It came negative, but I am wondering if that affects the result? Thanks!

first response is the least effective test on the market. although it hardly ever has false positives, it frequently has false negatives. i would suggest trying the Fact Plus brand which is the most effective. also, using for first morning pee (after the urine has been in your body for at least 5 hours) gives you the best chance of correct results.

I dont think that having the window upside down makes a difference in the test results. if your still worried, take another test, or see your doctor.

It shouldn't matter. As long as you had a line in the test window saying that it was taken properly you are fine.

I agree with the first comment...it shouldn't matter. Maybe they put those directions in there as a precautionary measure who knows!

No, that shouldn't make a difference at all.

it shouldn't matter.. as long as you got urine on the strip it'll all soak in. Maybe next month.
