I cant believe how incredibly nieve people are.... do not listen to any of the previous answers. they are inconcievable. first of all you need to know how many days your cycle is... if you have a 28 day cycle then most likely you ovulate on cycle day (cd) 14 then you have a leutal phase (lp) of 14 days. your ovulation day is your most fertile day, however sperm lives in fertile cervical mucus (cm) called egg white cervical mucus (ewcm) for up to 6 days, and an egg can live for up to 2 days, so technically you have a potentially good fertile time of up to 8 days... thats it, no more. once the egg drops you time passes quick, if you want to get pg you need to know when you ovulate so that you dont have sex too late and miss the egg. you also dont want to have sex too early because the sperm might die off before the egg drops.

Count twelve days from the beginning of your period and have sex 5 days before, then every day until 5 days after.

It' s like twelve days before your period & you are supposed to be more fertile between then up until your period. Some girls are even fertile the first week of their period.

You ovulate 15 days after your period (once a month)
Try an ovulation kit, and it will tell you when ovulation will likely
occur.
