Pregnancy & Parenting - 12 December 2006

I have missed 2 periods but (-) home pregnancy tests and today I got a (-) Blood-Serum test. My period has been like clockwork for 8 years (28 day cycle). I do not smoke, drink, nor have ever been on birthcontrol. I have had severe bloating, cramps, nausea, headaches, that feeling down there like you're going to start your period, but it never comes. The doctor gave me a pelvic exam and took a Pap smear, didn't say much after (as I had to leave for an exam immediately). The Pap wasn't too uncomfortable but my abdomen is severely bloated and I have lots of pain stemming around my belly button and lower. I'm going to call the doctor and ask why this Pap is so painful afterwards (as my yearly ones never have hurt), but was wondering if this has happened to anyone before. The pain is nearly making me sick to my stomach.

Any ideas...? Seriously I'm 30 weeks pregnant and still have no idea. The baby is gonna be half mexican, a little native american, and white. So I really have no idea. I like the name Alex for boys...um I like Heidi sorta....I dunno.

we have been ttc for about 6 months now and he's been on adipex for about 2 months. I know it's not good for the woman to take them, but does it affect us conceiving if he takes them? does it do anything to his sperm count?

If you had a 19 year old in college, struggling with his own finances of paying car payments, insurance, student loan bills, cell phone... completely financially independent, responsible, young adult... would you bring him into your financial situation? would you ever even think to ask him for money, when you're well aware that he struggles just as much as you? Keep in mind, you, the parent, sometimes go on shopping extravaganzas and your credit card debts frmo the past are high. would you burden him with your finances when he's done so well for himself? Would you even consider using your CHILD as a means of paying the bills?

i just found out that my dad has cancer, and i really want to go see him for christmas. i have not seen nim in many many many years. but due to no insurance, and him having to pay for his treatments, hee does not have the money to get me up there. does ne one know how much it would cost to get from western washington, to san bernadino california and back. driving???? would i need to stop at a hotel???
also, i have not yet told him that i am pregnant, and now im scared that it will make everything worse because he has cancer now and ya. i dont know what to do. (he thinks im a virgin)

When he was a little baby that's understandable but he still drools and soaks his clothes. It's not teething and if it was I would think he would swallow instead of let it spill from his mouth. He is a healthy happy baby but my concern over this drooling thing is growing. Any thoughts........?

she is six months old. She is not breast feed because of my breast implants. She has been drinking from liquid formula and recently (one week) she doesn't want to drink formula milk anymore, because all she wants is water and gerber food. She likes to drink water more than the milk. Mabe her throat is infected or the nippel on the bottle is to small and hard for her to suck. The water is thinner than the milk so it would be easier to drink?

I've found in research that condoms are 98-99% effective at preventing pregnancy. I think that's pretty good, but I wonder about that 1-2%. Has anyone here ever gotten pregnant even though they were using condoms consistently?

I had a misscarage three nights ago night of the 10th of december, and I'm still having really bad pains in my cervix and everywhere down there and my back. They are like contractions and they are still here after I had my misscarage, when is the pain going to go away?
