you know how it feels when someone is trying to kick you under water? those ripples? it feels like that. and sometimes gas. when i first felt mine thats what it felt like. trust me you wont miss it. it is really unlike any other thing you will ever feel. and once the baby gets bigger its even more amazing. i didnt feel anything until around 18 or 19 weeks. some women wont feel anything until much later...some are just more sensitive about things going on in there bodys then other. just wait until your baby gets big and you start playing *guess the body part thats poking me* lol. its fun. im usually right. i know, because i know my body well.

Around 17 weeks or so I felt what I called the "fish bowl". It was kind of a sloshing feeling. Then around 19 weeks it elevated to kind of a bubbly feeling.. then about 21-22 weeks started the actual kicking. Let me tell you, from then on...sleep will be precious (at least in my experience). Until the 22 week point I couldn't feel the movements untless I was laying down. Everyone is different and this is only my experience, but I hope it helps a little. Congrats and you'll be feeling pleanty of kicks in NO time!

I felt my baby girl's first kick at 19wks. I was sitting down with my knees to my chest and felt what seemed like a little gas bubble bumping around. Sad part was as quick as it happened, it was gone. I didn't budge for half an hour just trying to feel her again and notta kick. Now she shows everyone she's in there. People have even spotted her moving under my jacket that's almost an inch thick. It's the best feeling in the world. Congrats on yours! You should be finding out soon if it's a boy or girl!

The first time I felt my daugther move was when I was between 17-20 weeks pregnant. I was laying on my side one morning and I felt "bubbles" go up the center of my tummy. I didn't feel her actually kick though until I was much further along.

The first time I felt my daughter move it felt just like a butterfly wing stroking the inside of my belly. You can't miss it because it is so different from anything else you've felt before. Enjoy and good luck.

It has been said it feels like butterflies in your stomach. My young friend at work is just about 4-5 months along and she thinks it feels like an alien is in her belly! LOL
For me it was a feeling of awe and utter fulfillment to feel the flutter and amazement. It is a little like bubbles in your tummy. You will know it when it happens. It should bring a feeling of amazing joy!
Good Luck Momma!

this is plausible, even with the actual shown truth that probably unlikely that early. I caution: at this element, your toddler is largely formed like a peanut now. There are not any limbs totally stepped ahead yet. I hate to assert this is not plausible, although. And, It also relies upon on what being pregnant it is for you. maximum 2d/third, etc time mom's word kicks previously 'reason they comprehend what that is like. And, their ligaments, muscle mass, and dermis are looser from the first being pregnant. yet at this element, i ought to assert what you felt replaced into perhaps a "remodeling into discomfort" that receives worse because the time is going with techniques from (not insufferable), and/or gas. good luck! quickly you'd be complaining about him not getting his ft out of your ribs! LOL!

When I was 17 weeks I was sitting there for hours trying to see if my baby was moving. Everyone told me it feels like butterflies but really it feels like gas bubbles. It feels like right above your pelvic bone you will feel like a gas bubble shoot across or just in one spot. That is your baby moving not gas. As time goes by you will be able to def. distinguish the difference. Good luck congrats

When I first felt the kids move it felt like I was being tickled very softly at the lower part of my uterus. I don't think of it as them kicking as much as they were fluttering around. kicking comes later.

It felt like a butterfly in my belly.
The first time, it was so gentle and I'd been thinking about it... I brushed it off as wishful thinking.
THe next day, I was thinking of something else, and it interrupted my conversation. Then I knew it was real.
