kick him to the curb!!! If he is violent who's to say he wont go after the baby!! run away and never look back, raise that baby alone and enjoy a wonderful non-abusive life.

I don't see anything wrong with it, but she is running the risk of him finding out later and demanding parental rights.
I personally think she would be better off going to a judge after the baby is born and presenting evidence about their relationship and his anger problem. He WOULD be informed, since technically the suit is against him, but most judges would take away his parental rights before she could snap her fingers, if he's really a bad guy.
That's just to be on the safe side. There's still no reason to tell him while she's pregnant.

It would probably make him more angry NOT to tell him. Like it or not, it's his baby, too. Tell her to get a lawyer so that they'll have a stable legal voice in the matter. If he really is so worthless then I highly doubt he'll want the baby anyway. It'll cause a whole bunch of complications in the future if he eventually does find out.

It isn't wrong, but she should think about what she's going to do if he ever does find out, because it could cause problems down the road. What she's doing though seems like the best for the child and her. Tell her to be strong!

She will never be rid of him if he finds out she has a kid, she might better say she has been seeing someone else and just break it off.Sounds like she already has been taking care of one little boy, she can't change how that one was raised, but she can see to it her child is raised better. Good luck.

No that would be wrong...very wrong. And not fair to the child who won't get to decide if they want thier father to be a part of thier life. Basicly I say she tells him shes pregnant and doesn't want to be with him. If shes worried he will hit her or something she should do it over the phone.

that is wrong. It takes two to make a baby and he has every right to know. This might be something that will make him turn his life around. Plus, what are you going to do when the baby asks who Dad is? Its not fair to the baby either. Give him the chance to atleast make things right, if not, he doesn' then go on with your life. he atleast deserves a chance.

It's best to get some outside help because you will need it. This decision should be made with others involved. Also if you get on welfare they will need to know the name of the father in order for them to get child support. Good luck.

He has the right to know. The child has a right to know. Having said that, I have a friend who believed the child would not be safe with this man (and I agree, the child should not be with him) and so she did not tell him
