There seems to be a trend of young single mothers having babies out of wedlock and keeping thier babies. When I was growing up you got married and then had babies. I think if the girl is young she should put the baby up for adoption. Why are there so many teen pregnancies?

I have been getting abdominal pains for the past 3 days on and off, and my breasts are slighty sore (like just before I get period).
I stopped taking the pill on the 6th of October and then got a period on the 11th of October and then my period came 34 days later on the 14 of November. If my period was to regulate itselfs I would have been due for my period yesterday the 12th of December. But no signs of my period as yet so I have to wait till 19th of December to see if my period comes.
But I have had pregnancy symptoms. Is it to early to tell?. I have done a urine test and it was negitive. How long should I wait to do another one (after I am due next week), or should I go and get a blood test done?

Im please and ease my mind.. Im not pregnant!! Phew.. i thought i was.. coz i have been late for abt 2 weeks with headach, giddy and nausea!!... my pelvis cramp once a while... my tummy also getting bigger!! Tell me .. arent these are all sign n symptoms of pregnancy? I was so worried ... i finally got a pregnancy test kit and thanks god.. it show very clear single blue lines. (negative) I want children but not now..as we are not marry yet.

I am absolutley overly obsessed with my toddler's safety. She will be two years old in February. I find myself wondering off thinking up these terrible things that could happen to her. It leaves me with the absolute worst feeling. It happens mostly at night. I can't sleep because of it or if I do drift off I have terrible dreams about it. Most often it's thoughts of her running out in the street & a car striking her or a stranger hurting her in some way or really ANYTHING at all that could harm her. I feel like I might need to see my doctor to prescribe some kind of anti-anxiety medication because I feel that this is not normal. I know all parents worry about their children but this is insane. Help, anyone else have feelings this extreme?????
It scares me to think I'm this worried while she is with me 100% of her day (I'm a stay at home mom) How will I act when she is a teen out driving her own car?? :(

I was pregnant but had a miscarriage in July. I had a D&C. I got my period in August and now haven't had one since. My husband and I are trying to have a baby but every test has come up negative. (i took a test every week since September and its now December) I am not under stress, i actually quit work at the end of September. Whats wrong with me?

My baby's father made a surprise visit home last night.. and he's only going to be here for a week. (He works on the ocean.. so we just KNEW he wouldn't be able to be here for our little boy to be born.)

I am 37 weeks pregnant.. and I was wondering what ya'll thought about asking my doctor to induce me (I have an appointment tomorrow)..

Do ya'll think that the doctor would go for that? Anyone have any stories similar to this one? I just can't stop thinking about it so I need to hear someone's opinion.

i took a pregnancy test and and i'm not sure what it means. not pregnat was an o with one of these - through it. the pregnant one was a o with one of these + on it. i took the test and it came out with a a line up and down but a very very light middle line. is that still positive? or am i reading it wrong?

My 2 1\2 daughter wont stop biting. When she cant get her own way she will bite. Not only does she bite me she will bite the furniture, her clothes or anything around her. When she has bitten me i have bitten her back not hard though only hard enough for her to realize what she had done wrong. But that doesnt seem to make a difference as she keeps doing it. What am i supose to do to make her stop and to make her realize its wrong and shouldnt do it?

I am trying to start a petition for major companies to make infant/child formula more affordable for families....Currently the rate is 20 - 25$ per can. which lasts approx. 4-6 days...depending on how u use it. I'd like to know if you'd sign a petition like that, and if anyone knows how do i do it through email. I have bought workbooks for math and reading, and have practiced with her and we read 2-3 books everyday sometimes more. She has her own library card and we check out books all the time. She gets frustrated with sounding out words and often guesses instead of trying and she cries thinking that she's not as smart as the other kids at school. In math she is not bad she is having trouble with adding and subtracting bigger number. Are there any good learning programs that anyone has had success with that they could recommend, I am only six years in here and this is my only child, I know she is only in the first grade is this normal, I just want to make sure I do everything in my power so that she can feel successful in what she does. Help!!

i am 15 weeks and i am alway so tired and i feel like all my joint s are sore all the time and i have no energy. I have spoken with my sister in law who is a nurse and she told me it is normal to feel like this sometimes but i am wondering if anyone else has experenced this. Ive been on the depo birthcontrol shot for 18 months but in sept i forgot to go get it and ended up getting it a month late. i havent had a period since i started the shot so that is pretty unreliable way to tell. me and my b/f had sex numerous times in that month period span(everytime he pulled out before he came, but i know thats not 100%effective)i have all the symptoms of pregnancy except for a pos preg test. ive taken 3 or 4 hpt and all were neg. i have the nausia, irritability, frequent urination, weight gain, increased appetite, cravings, swelling, tender breasts, fatigue. plz help. i dont have med insurance so i dont really wanna go to the dr unless i know for sure i am.

My newborn (5wk old) seems to have alot of lower wind pain all the time, i wind him after each feed for longer and longer and he burps but he seems to still get lower wind pain. I have tried watching my diet as im breastfeeding (no cabbage, chocolate etc) to no avail and also given him some colic relief which only sometimes works. any other ideas out there??

I am now 8 days past when I should have started my period, and I am starting to wonder if I am pregnant, however I have no other signs. I am going to take a test in the morning, because they say it is best to use your first, morning pee. Does anyone have any insight on how accurate a HPT will be after 8 days? Also, they say to either pee right on the stick, or in a cup and then dip the stick... is there a better way?

I have had some stress for the last few weeks, and wondering if that could really cause my period to not come this month. I am sexually active, and on the pill and am good about taking it, and use another form about 90% of the time. And, the last couple times we didn't. So it will either be stress or being pregnant that will win the battle.

Please answer about the hpt... thank you!!!
