i took a pregnancy test and and i'm not sure what it means. not pregnat was an o with one of these - through it. the pregnant one was a o with one of these + on it. i took the test and it came out with a a line up and down but a very very light middle line. is that still positive? or am i reading it wrong?

as long as you read it at 3 minutes and not past i believe 10 minutes than that would be a positive test result no matter how faint the line is. If you read it after a certain amount of time, like i said i think it's 10 minutes but cant remember, a shadow line will appear. Did you throw the box away?? Cause it tells you how everything works. If the test is positive no matter how light it is then your pregnant Congrats! If you dont believe it do another test. I had bought a 2 test pack. I did my first test late at night and it said positive but very faint. I did the second test at a very early time in the morning and it was very dominant that I was pregnant. You can always call your doctor.

If there is a faint line...most likely you are pregnant. A faint line is usually just as good as a positive. I had the same problem....and I'm pregnant. Take another test tomorrow or the next day...and then call your doc.

Sounds like your pregnant, if your not confident either call the doctor to do a blood test or try taking another test. If I were you I would I would just call the doctor, if you are in fact pregnant you need to get on prenatal vitamins and to be checked out anyway.

it could be defective....try taking another test....i find first response works well and is easy to read. good luck
