I have been getting abdominal pains for the past 3 days on and off, and my breasts are slighty sore (like just before I get period).
I stopped taking the pill on the 6th of October and then got a period on the 11th of October and then my period came 34 days later on the 14 of November. If my period was to regulate itselfs I would have been due for my period yesterday the 12th of December. But no signs of my period as yet so I have to wait till 19th of December to see if my period comes.
But I have had pregnancy symptoms. Is it to early to tell?. I have done a urine test and it was negitive. How long should I wait to do another one (after I am due next week), or should I go and get a blood test done?

Pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy; however, one of the most significant pregnancy symptoms is a delayed or missed menstrual cycle. Understanding pregnancy symptoms is important because each symptom may be related to something other than pregnancy. Some women experience pregnancy symptoms within a week of conception. For other women, symptoms may develop over a few weeks or may not be present at all. Below is a listing of some of the most common pregnancy symptoms.
Implantation Bleeding:

Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping.

Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse.
Delay/Difference in Menstruation:

A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test :)

Yes a blood test from your doctor know as the HCG Qualitative test would should up already it were positive. OR The HCG Quantitative would give a hormone level. That level would be helpful if later you thought you were having problems they could check to see if the hormones were raising properly or declining in a spontaneous abortion.
The HPT you took could have had a false negative. If you do another at home test know that they don't have false positives only false negatives. That is because the HCG hormone has to be present to change the marker in the test to a positive. So if it is positive, it is positive!
Good luck

The cheaper answer is of course to wait until next week and try the HPT again. If you were to get a blood test done now, however, it would be a very clear and definite yes or no for you.

i was only 2 weeks pregnant and I already knew it. I took prolly 6 or 7 Hpt test and they were all negative. I went to the doctor, and finally a test showed I was pregnant, but even after that It took 4 more weeks for anything to show up on ultrasound. If you think you are, then you prolly are!

Best course of action, wait for your period to be late a week, then take another hpt, if still negative, contact ob to ask what is going on.
