I know that the girl's name is too long, but my DH wants to name her shakira, because he likes the Colombian singer. I don't like it, but marriage is about commidment and I picked the first name and he picked the second one. I just let it be, 'cause anyways, she will be called by the first name only. and for short we will call her Kari.

I like the name's you just do your thing. The girl name is very nice I would name her that. The boy's name is nice to you go.

I would rate Karianne Shakira a 3 out of 10. I dont care for the name Shakira. What about first name - Kari, middle name - Anne and call her KariAnne? I like Jace Aleksander.. its different. 8 out of 10.

I really like the name Karianne. I'm not too crazy about Shakira, but it is different, and it does work together. I also like Jace Aleksander, but I would spell the middle name the right way - Jace Alexander.

Why does it have to be Aleksander?? why cant you spell it normally? Karianne is nice but Shakira are you kidding?
Jace to me sounds more like a girls name...why not Jason as it's so close.

I would spell Jace Aleksander, Jace Alexander... because Aleksander looks weird to me. I like the boys name though. The girls name I like Karianne its pretty... Shakira doesn't go with the name at all...

Personally, I do not like names that are intentionally mispelled. Your child will have to spell their name over and over for the rest of their life and people will have trouble with the pronounciation and spelling regardles of how many times they are told. I also don't get naming a child one name and then shortening it. Why not just name her Kari if that's what you're going to call her? I do like Kari Anne (making two names out of it) but I am not crazy about Shakira. The boys name...I'm just so so on. All that being said, it's YOUR child. Pick the name that you love! 'Karianne' is okay but never 'Shakira'. How sad! If you have a long first name the middle name should be shorter, and vise versa in my opinion. I like 'Jace' a lot by the way. And that 's a very interesting way to spell 'Alexander', it works though.

Honestly, the only place I every heard the name Jace, he was the bad guy in a violent Lifetime movie. name him Jason. Call him Jace if you want. The girl's name is ok.
