Can I just ask - why are there always questions on here saying that people are buying umbilical cords to insert into their uterus until a new one grows to feed the baby (I won't even go into reasons why this is utterly rediculous)?? This is absolute nonsense and really pisses me off that anyone could be so stupid. The only thing I can think of is it's some sort of 'urban myth' doing the rounds at school and people are curious. I can't believe how many times I have read it!! Does anyone know where it's originated from?

ive just broken up with my boyfriend of nearly 2 years and im taking it realli badly!i still love him!!he says he still loves me but we want diff things in life so thers no point in us being 2getha!but we are gna stay friends!we didnt even have an arguement we wer out 4 dinner on sat nite then came ome and had a talk about it and then he decided to break it off he says hes hurting 2 but its realli hard i mean we saw each other everyday and did everything 2getha everything is connected to him like wen i turn on my computa last note thers a message frm ages ago frm him and my room is full of fotos and presents frm him he has bought me clothes and jewerally so even wat i wear is connected to him!we didnt even have a proper goodbye the lat time we saw each other cause i didnt see it coming and i mean i chose nt to cuddle up to him at he cinema wen on sat nite casue i took it 4granted that i could do it again any time!!!now ill nva ave that again!i suggested gettin bk but he dnt wnt 2!im 19

i had a scan on friday and it showed that i miscarried 2 weeks ago but the baby had stopped growing at 5 weeks(i would have been 10 weeks friday just gone) they sed it was a complete miscarriage and didnt give a time scale to try again just whenever i wanted, how soon do u think i could get pregnant again.

Im now 12 weeks 2 days pregnant with my third child and i really dont feel pregnant at all...Is this normal???? Im not showing much at all yet and ive only gained like 2 pounds...Im not sure if this is how its suppost to be. I keep worrying about losing the baby and i dont know why, Do you think this is a possibility or am i just worried too much? Ive had two healthy boys. And i seen the heartbeat at about 10 weeks. When am i out of the woods? or at least have the chance of this happening drop? Thanks so much!!!

My Son is about to hit 13 but is well and truely into puberty!! He has always been a heavy sleeper which might have been cute when he was a tot but now he's a teen its a nightmare getting him up for school. I've tried everything I can think of but chucking water over him or physically pulling him down from a top bunk.
He gets no pocket money that his brother does, he gets detentions from school for being late, I pinch his quilt and take it down stairs, what else is there i can do. He's lucky I don't have to go out to work early and leave him to get himself up or he'd never get to school. Please help.

Me and this guy have been talking for about a month now and things got a little out of control the one night now i might be pregnant.he already has a kid but his babys mom wont let him see his daughter and he has a domestics hearing coming up soon.and i told him last night that i might be pregnant and he said he cant do it again meaning have another kid cuz hes having so many problems rite now and i dont know what to do cuz he said hopefully i dont keep it if i am and if i do he said he will be there for me no matter what cuz its his kid and hes not the type of guy to bail out on a kid.But i dont know what to do cuz im only 17 and hes 21 and he lives wit me too so please help!

hi I am 8 and half weeks pregnant and i have no regular contractions and am unsure if this is braxton hicks. But when i do get a hardening in my stomache i am getting pains in my back down 1 side. my stomache hardens mostly when i stand up and im confused.

What are some good books that I can get for my daughter (6yrs old, 1st grade) that has good sight words, as well as words that will challange her to sound out? Also, she still has a habit of writing some letters and numbers backwards....any thoughts on how to help her remember which direction their supposed to face? Any help would be appriciated.

everyone hates her, especially her siblings & kids at school. She use to be a happy girl but now she just seems depressed about school, we have tried to seek help at diffrent agency's but they say they will call back and we don't hear fom them (Ontario) she was cutting, but now she has stop that....we show her love & attention and praise her when she does well and accomplish things that can be hard for her....alot of the times she says "I don't care" when she don't get her way, she lies to her friends she also tells them she hates life, what else can i do to help her with this problem? I'm a mom who is at there wits end....and i don't like the systems here, it seems when a child is crying for help, they slam the door in your face

I just feel extreme pressure down there... And instead of the kicks up near my ribs and side there all down 'there'... Very uncomfy... And i'm having to pee every Ten minutes... Is this normal???

Trying to determine what game to buy for my grandkids.
Ages: 10 yr. old Twin boys, plus two girls, ages 5 & 3. All same family. They are home schooled and although they have a TV, it is only for tapes and DVD's. They do not have cable. So they do not see commercials advertising games and such.
Also, parents do not want video game systems. I know this sounds weird in today's world, but they are fine with it.
They are allowed to watch TV and play video at friends homes and when they visit us.
When we are together, we play bingo as a family.
I am looking for something newer than Candyland, Sorry, Hi Ho Cherry O.
Any Suggestions ??

My younger cousin is 6 years old and was living with my parents but they can no longer take care of her because they say they are loosing energy for child raising.Me i am 24 years old and a recent college graduate who just got a job in NYC recently and am living in manhattan on the west side.I will be getting money to help me out while she is staying here to pay for anything she may need i do not know yet if its for good (her staying).Problem is i do not know anything about caring for a 6 year old?Can i do this?As it is i have to read up on the proper food she should be getting since my college food habits will not work.

Long story short . . . over the weekend, my pregnant sister in law convinced me to give her a "fetal massage," which essentially involves alternatively messaging the plump belly and the buttocks. I felt a little strange doing this, but it really was not anything sexual. I also did not yet tel my wife, but I am going to, because, again, I don;t think this was wrong. Any thoughts?

I'm writing a research paper on "prenatal care" but more on expiermental care. Like putting music to the stomach or doing certain massages during pregnancy. But I'm having a real time finding sources. I've searched online for "prenatal care" but just found basics and then "expiermental prenatal care" but still nothing. I was wondering if anyone knew any sites or if I should search using a different name.
