my son is 17 months old, up until a couple months ago he would give kisses and hugs to any random person that seemed interested, but lately he wont have anything to do with anyone, even me! i am sure this is probably just a phase or something, but my question is how can i make sure our family members and friends feelings arent hurt by him not wanting to give lovins or snuggle with anyone? this weekend my grandparents came over that had not seen him in a long time and were genuinely upset that he wouldnt have anything to do with them. we are traveling cross country in jan to see my husbands family who havent seen my son since april and i am sure this is going to be an issue with them too, i just dont want anyone to be upset, has anyone else had this problem, what did you do or say? thank you, sorry its so long.

from your first pregnancy to your second or third and so on...did things happen earlier in your second pregnancy such as movement and kicking and if so how early did it start? what was the most different about your pregnancies, i know each one is different. i am on my second and this one is completely different from the first. i never got sick or anything with the first and with this one i cant seem to stop LOL just curious what kinds of things were different for you,

We think that my uncle has him, my brother. My uncle abused my brother for years, and last night broke out of jail. Do abusers usually come after their victims if they get put in jail?

He hasn't been seen since last night. The police are going to start searching for him soon. In the mean time my dad is not treating my other brother right, he hit him once out of stress (which he apologized for) and once 'on accident.' I'm really worried for my brother, although he is 15 he never has pulled any stunts like this before, and he has gotten several death threats from my uncle (which I have found and given to the police.)

I want to search for my brother, but my mom is freaked out. I know my dad will be searching, so will my efforts be better at home? What should I do, is there anything I need to know to tell the police? HELP!

I was informed from my 7 year old daughter that a couple of the girls from her second grade class have been calling her filthy names like f*****g b***h and other ones. I have made a call to the teacher. My daughter said that they still haven't stopped. They just quit doing it to her face. My daughter is a very sweet child. Everyone of the adults at the school says that she is one of the best behaved children in the school. I also know that my daughter would not lie about the words. She didn't even know that they were bad until she told me what was said. We don't use that language in our house.

So, my question is this... How would you handle this situation if you had already gone to the teacher? Should I contact the parents? I don't want to make it worse for my daughter with these girls. I know that when a parent gets involved the kids really do harder damage to the child that has been picked on. Some one please help.

Im a size 20/22 and am having a huge problem finding any maternity clothes on the high street above a size 18. Even when i've looked online I cant find much which isnt hugely expensive. Does anyone know where i can get some larger size maternity clothes? they must sell some somewhere

i just finished my treatment and i've started ovulating since three months ago, but the Gyno discovered my hubby does not have "quality sperm" or rather "good swimmer" he placed him on clomid and Vit. E for 2mnths, do you think it will help? am not worried but confused why now that am through with anovulatory.

My bf and i just got back together after being broken up 6 months over something dumb (his mom kept causing fights).Before that we were together two years and were getting engaged.Problem is we got carried away 3 days ago and forgot to use a condom.I am on the pill its just after the break up i got lazy about taking it missing 2-3 a month and taking them at different times.I am due for my period in about two weeks give or take a little but my periods are irregular because i am under weight 5 ft 6 and only 109 pounds.How long do i have to wait to find out if i am pregnant?

Her birth date is 7/27/06. She sleeps from 7:30pm-12:30am then she is up every 2 hours. Yes, I feed her cereal in her bottle-- actually she will not take a bottle without a little cereal in it, no, it does not constipate her. I tried feeding her sweet potatoes and pears throughout the day, which she loves both. But then she was extremely fussy in the evening so we quit the food for a week and the fussiness went away. But she still will not sleep and I am exhausted !!! I would greatly appreciate any "real" advise from experienced mothers. I am a nurse and none of the doctors know what to tell me. She is a beautiful and happy baby, she does not wake up in the morning in a bad mood(always happy) you can not be upset at a smiling baby..But she wants to get up for the day at 5am. Help!! dad can not help as he is on call 24hours a day for towing and we live in a very rural area. We own a collision/body shop/towing business. The closest town to us has one red light. Any advise???

I had non-consensual sex about five years ago and I catght some kind of infection from the guy. I went to see a doctor who told me it wasn't chlamydia and gave me some antibiotics and the syptoms went away. I am now married and have had two miscarriages. A home-test for chlamydia came back positive. What is going on? Have I had this for five years and did it cause my miscarriages?

I am 18 weeks pregnant and I started feeling "fluttering/quickening" about 2.5 weeks ago or so but all of a sudden (at least it seemed sudden) I got worried because yesterday (and maybe even the day before) i didnt feel it quite as much. Not saying i feel it very often thruout the day, but when im still i notice it obviously, just wondering if the baby is just chilling or what. I had the fetal heartbeat checked 11.27.06 and everything was normal. I dont have any peculiar discharges, etc. Had a sharp pain in my stomach last night but it subsided quickly - i'm thinking gas. But wanted to know if I should be looking for anything else.

I'm suppose to have my peroid on the 16th. If I use one of those PT's that can get your results within 5 days before your missed peroids and use it on the 14th, then wait for my period and if I don't have it by the 18th then get another test and go from there. Good Idea. any other idea's? My boyfriend and I both really want to know asap. So can I test earlier?
