this happened to me my first pregnancy. i had it after thanksgiving dinner that my father cooked. needless to say the whole house was sick. i called my doctor and he said i should be fine. try not to eat or drink anything for about an hour then try a little ginger ale. if you keep that down work your way to chicken broth. take you vitamin with the broth. keep it up with clear foods and drinks for the rest of the day. good luck and call your doctor about the cramps. its normal but he may want you do come in.

The first thing you should know is that even when you feel horrible and sick, your baby is totally unaware of that AS LONG AS you keep enough fluids down, as long as you stay hydrated. Stomach cramps are either from dehydration or from being so sick that your ligaments that are stretching are irritated. With that said, you stated above that you can't keep any fluids down...get your *** to the emergency room ASAP. Since Saturtay seems a bit long to be food poisoning, more likely gastroenteritis, but is way too long to be hrowing up fluids...your baby could be suffering and that is most likely the cramping you are getting as dehydration does cause contractions. Go get an IV.

Little One, You really need to call your Doctor!
I had food poisoning when I was seven months pregnant with my youngest daughter, who is now a mother of her own! You don't want to loose the baby and the only thing that can be done for you is IV's. They can help with the dehydration that will occur.
Get up, call a friend, and GET YOUR BUTT TO THE DOCTOR!
I almost waited too long and nearly lost my baby. The cramps are caused from the infection and can cause you to go into early labor.
Good Luck!

Blessed Be

Go to the ER if you can't see your doc right away. This happened to me at 14weeks pregnant. I too could not even keep water down and was throwing up so much I was literally tasting what I believe to be the acid in my stomach! By the time I had the sense to go to the ER, I had no fluids left and had to be given an IV because I was dehydrated. You do not want to let it get that bad. Get seen soon! GOOD LUCK!

the 1st element you will prefer to be attentive to is that on the same time as quickly as you adventure undesirable and unwell, your infant is definitely blind to that as long as you retain sufficient fluids down, as long as you reside hydrated. abdomen cramps are the two from dehydration or from being so unwell that your ligaments that are stretching are aggravated. With that suggested, you stated above which you will not be waiting to maintain any fluids down...get your *** to the emergency room ASAP. because of the fact Saturtay looks incredibly long to be food poisoning, plenty greater suitable probably gastroenteritis, yet is a lot too long to be hrowing up fluids...your infant might prefer to be suffering and that's optimal probably the cramping you're taking off to be as dehydration does reason contractions. pass get an IV.

Call you doctor now. PG women are 20 to 30% more likely to get listeria, caused from bacteria from undercooked foods. Doctors will check for it and prescribe antibiotics. If left untreated in extreme cases, it could be fatal to the fetus. Regardless continue to try to take in fluids. Dehydration can be really bad for pg women.

If you are not even keeping water down, you are dehydrated and unless you go to the hospital for fluids, you will just continue to feel worse.

Go see your doctor ASAP if you suspect food poisoning! If it's bad enough that you can't keep water down, you could be putting your child at risk of miscarriage (due to the stress on your body). The stomach cramps are another bad sign. Good luck and get well soon. =)
