I was just wondering, since white babies are normally born with blue eyes that often change color later on. I'm actually of white and Cherokee descent, but all of the babies in my family have been born with blue eyes.

Most Hispanic, Asian, Black and Native American babies are born with brown eyes, some white babies are born with brown eyes and their eyes will stay brown, but like you said most are born with blue or grey eyes and they will change by age one or so. Your family's babies could be born with blue becuase of the caucasion in you.

Some are some aren't ... It's the luck of the draw so to speak...

My first husband is Mexican and has 9 brothers and sisters of thier 50+ children about 1/2 were born with dark eyes and about 1/2 with blue eyes that turned dark over time... All of the children have gotten thier grandfathers eyes very dark brown with an idark blue ring around the very outside edge of the color..

Well, it's really not true that white babies are born with blue eyes anyway, my oldest son was born with dark brown eyes like mine, my second with blue that changed to brown and my youngest with blue that stayed blue.

I would say it depends on the genetics of the parents. The races you mentioned tend to have dark eyes so it is likely that those babies would be born with dark eyes, which is the dominant gene anyway.

My mother has green eyes, my uncle has blue eyes, my husband has gray eyes, I have brown eyes and we are all Hispanics. "Hispanic" IS NOT A RACE. It is an Ethnic group; a "cultural" group, united by a similar culture and language inherited from Spain and Latin America.
You can be white and be Hispanic, you can be black and be Hispanic, you can be of Asian descendance, Native Americas descendance, Indian descendance, Arab descendance, European descendance, African descendance, and still be Hispanic if you or your parents grew up in Latin America.
Examples: the singer Shakira is a Hispanic from the country Colombia, but she descend from Lebanese parents. The singer Cristina Aguilera is Hispanic but she is white with BLUE eyes. So is Cameron Diaz, whos father is of Cuban ascendance.
