he just plays with the bottle nipple and isnt eating much the last couple of days

he may be getting sick, or just could be a phase. I wouldn't worry too much just make sure he eats some so he wont get dehydrated.

They say babies that are busy learning new things temporarily forget the old things in the mean time. My baby does the samethings at times. IF its not then then the baby probably is just not hungry and doesnt need as much food because he is not going through a growth spurt.

It seems to me (with my kids) that after they go through a growth spurt, they eat much less for a bit. If he seems healthy otherwise, I would not worry too much.

I think it's ok and may pass. My son did that last month also and is fine now. I read in my book that they do that at that age. Just keep feeding him when you can.
