My son just got his 2 month shot and right after the shots, the dr gave him a pain relief oral shot. after 4 hours later, my baby is crying and screeching with a very red face (i guess from the pain), I quickly tried to feed him but he didn't want to eat (which is abnormal since he usually eats every 3-4 hours. He kept crying n crying and then falling asleep and then after a minute of sleeping, crying in pain again. I quickly gave him infant tylenol (only 0.8ML) and he is still crying. Now he stopped crying and is in my bathroom with the shower running in the background and he is sleeping. Should i wake him up to eat?? should i give a very warm bath to help him ease the pain? should i even give him a bath today since he just had needles stuck in his skin today?? can anybody give me some advice on how to comfort him so he will eat?

please help, thanks.

PS, this is my 1st baby.

My middle name is Alene and would love to name my daughter Alena. How do you pronounce the first 'a' in Alena? Like 'a' in the word at, or like 'uh'? Just curious. I don't want for her to spend her life telling people how to pronounce her name.

What if you were pregnant but you thought that everything was alright but you never knew that if the boy that you were pregnant by was going to help you. Then all of a sudden you are 4 months and you start having complications and find out that you are having twins and was threating a miscarriage because you never took enough time to get enough rest for two babies and that you should have been taking it easy. Then your water breaks and you don't know what to do besides call your mom. So when you get to the hospital the tell you everything might be alright just get some rest and that your babies still have strong heartbeats. So you go home and and get plenty of rest and take it easy until two days later when you are in pain and you have a miscarriage. You don't hear anything from the babies father until it's time for you to get out of the hospital he calls your room and is showing you any sympathy.
WHAT WOULDYOU DO?

I think my baby have dry scalp, but it's only in one spot of his head. I really don't know if it's dry scalp or dry skin, cause I can peel it off. I know thats sounds disgusting, but I am worried. He is only 1 years old, and my oldest son never had it.

I'm planning to check this out at the next OB visit, but just wonder if people think it's something I should be concerned about or whether it's normal. I'm 27 weeks pregnant, and over the past week or so I've noticed a small bulge on my abdomen, right next to my navel. It's about the size and consistency of the yolk of a fried egg. It doesn't move (on its own or with help from me), doesn't hurt, but also doesn't feel like a baby part.

Has anyone ever had this? Is this something for concern, or just one of those normal weird pregnancy things?

My mom is over 50 years old and I have a question about life and parenting. This only applies to moms over 50. My question: Why would you want your daughter to get married and have a family if they don't want to? Why can't you just be happy for happy, healthy offspring?

Alright I ovulated on the 30th of Novmeber and it is now 3 DPO and my BBT dropped a bit, and my cervix is really really soft softer than the touch of your lips and it is in a medium position and there is no longer a heavy milky discharge there is only discharge that is really light but it is still milky like, i've been having just really milk twinge like feeling in my tummy not noticable if I am doing something and slight cramping, I know it is WAY to early to tell if you are pregnant or not and that is not what I am asking but what I am asking is if it is normal for the cervix to be in the position it is in with the texture it has and to have a drop in BBT any answers would be appreciate

Tonight, my husband fried shrimp and french fries. My 18 m/o son ate a few fries, that were cooked in the same veg. oil as the shrimp. Now, his eye is slightly puffy, and he has a light splotchiness on his face. He is breathing normally, and playing normally, so I see no need to call his pediatrician, but if this is an allergic reaction, how will we know? Should we try to feed him a shrimp, or keep all seafood away from him from now on? No one in our family has food allergies, so I am clueless here.
Thanks for any input.

My son Cohen is 16 months. Over the last 4 weeks his temper was increased to where he does not listen to anyone, ignores, bites, hits, kicks. We have bought numerous Books and seeked advice from numerous resources but nothing is working. it only seems to be my partner and myself that he physically targets but will ignore everyone instructions. We do not smack, when he is having the tantrum and i mean a TANTRUM if it involves either possibly hurting someone or himself or someting dangerous we send him to his room. For anything else we remove whatever it is and tell him when he is good it will be returned. Nothing is working I can't trust my son, for the simple fact he does not listen and is constantly a time bomb waiting to go off and destroy something

I have been trying to have a second child for about 2 years. I have heard that women can expect to ovulate later in the cycle. My doctor prescribed 25mg Clomid for 5 days starting day 6.
