Pregnancy & Parenting - 3 December 2006

I just found out a few days ago that I am pregnant with twins. Now I am twice as worried as before. From anyone that has had twins, did your pregnancy go o.k. and is there anything that I should watch for. They found both heartbeats on the ultrasound and I am 14 weeks and have had no problems at all so far. Is there anything I should be worried about. Do most people have two healthy babies?

When I was shopping for infant car seats, I asked the salesperson (at BabiesRUs) if all the infant car seats fit in a shopping cart. He said, "No, they are not meant for that." Interesting, because they seem to fit just about every cart, even latching right on! If you're not supposed to put the car seat on that part, what are you supposed to do, put it right in the basket? Where the heck would you put your groceries? That just doesn't make sense to me.

Hi all, my 11 month old has stopped eating, from being a really good eater he has gone to eating one or two spoonfuls then spits the rest out. He is just starting to eat finger foods but will only eat a small amount of those too. If I give him something sweet like a fruit puree he will eat all of that, but I don't want him eating sweet things all of the time, I want him to have a healthy balanced diet. How do I get him to start eating again?

im 23 weeks pregnant and in the last few weeks, i have developed strech marks and my face is really dry, oh, and im obverously putting on weight, i feel so ugly, even though my partner says i dont, i cant help but feel like c*ap all the time. i love knowing that i have a beautyful baby inside me but i just hate the feeling. . .is there anything i can do to make this feeling of depression go away just long enough to enjoy my pregnancy?

I'm about 6 months pregnant and have had no complications so far. (I've been very lucky). Starting yesterday afternoon, whenever I breathe deeply, I feel this sharp pain in my chest on the right side. I thought it might be heartburn, but now I'm not so sure. Has anyone else felt this way? My son is ten months old and this morning he woke up with a swollen right eye. It did not seem to be bothering him but it's bothering me. There is a small red area beneath his eye as well. His left eye is slightly swollen, not as bad. When he went to bed they were find. Any suggestions or opinions?

Okay so my period was about a week late. Started four days ago, really heavy, passing clots, etc etc. I was so sure I was pregnant event hough I hadn't yet taken a test. Today, period day 4 or 5 I thought I'd check my cervix again, since I checked it the day before my period started, and while it was soft the day before my period, now it is even higher and even mushier. Is it possible that I'm still pregnant? Is it even possible that I'm pregnant with all this bleeding? Other than day one the rest of the period has been light. Are there any women who bleed with clotting and still end up being pregnant? Any help or info greatly appreciated.

She's 8 months old now and so attached to me that I can't even leave the room for a minute when I'm at home. It does work when I'm in school though. My hubby takes care of her then. But I'm always back after 3 hrs. We re-arranged our schedules so one of us is always available.
What would you suggest and is this common?

i saw my midwife today because i had cramping and diarrhea,
and felt extremely sick. she thought it may be labor starting and wanted to monitor.
she found that i was not in labor as yet but she believes i will be very soon. (i only have a week left)
i remember having the diarrhea right before labor with my first but cant remember how long it lasted as it was over 6 years ago.
can anyone who had the diarrhea before labor tell me how soon it should go away?
