Okay so my period was about a week late. Started four days ago, really heavy, passing clots, etc etc. I was so sure I was pregnant event hough I hadn't yet taken a test. Today, period day 4 or 5 I thought I'd check my cervix again, since I checked it the day before my period started, and while it was soft the day before my period, now it is even higher and even mushier. Is it possible that I'm still pregnant? Is it even possible that I'm pregnant with all this bleeding? Other than day one the rest of the period has been light. Are there any women who bleed with clotting and still end up being pregnant? Any help or info greatly appreciated.

It was my understanding that high mushy cervix meant either ovulation or pregnancy. And that prior to and during menstruation the cervix was LOW and HARD.

checked your cervix? ow sounds painful

the heavy bleeding with clots sounds like a miscarriage.

best get to the doc either way, you can hemorrhage if you have an incomplete miscarriage(that is if you had one)

get the doc right away

Without having taken a pg test before hand it is almost nearly impossible to tell, It is possible but it sounds to me that either you are having a miscarriage because of all the clots or it is your period. You can be pregnant and have a period . I had a period while being pregnant but it was pretty light. I would wait til the bleeding stops and take a test.

You need to go to the doctor, ASAP. You are most likely not pregnant. Did you know that 70% of fertilized eggs are expelled in a heavy period by the body before the woman even has any pregnancy symptoms? This is probably what happened.

You need to see the doctor for the heavy bleeding just to make sure you aren't hemorrhaging. They may need to do a D&C to scrape the uterine walls for any tissue that didn't come out by itself.

Good luck.

You CAN still get your period while pregnant, a friend of mine had it for 4 months and didn't know she was preggers cause of that fact. When you finish bleeding take a test, only way to know for sure.

Sounds lots like me at that age...you would no longer be common-what the hell is common besides except a thanks to make ppl experience undesirable or a be conscious ppl use even as they don't realize others-yet you're certainly particular. purely be sensible to come across a healthful outlet on your thoughts(like the humanities) and also you'd be okay

My aunt had all the same stuff you do. It turned out that she was pregnant with twins and miscarried one of them. My cousin was born healthy. I would call your doctor to make an appointment asap.
