Take her with you? Put her in a bouncer or something like it.
Or just let her cry. A baby has never died of crying. And you won't be in there long.

My son is 10mths old and he use to do the same thing. I just keep talking to him and leave the bathroom door open. He crawls to the bathroom and when i see him i say "boo" and now it is a game. He soon forgot what he was crying about. Babies cry and it sounds like your daughter has figured you out already, as she is ok without you there when your hubby is home. Make it a game and have fun she will be fine.

Very common. You can take her in there with you if you don't like to hear her cry. But at least you know that when she's crying is not because she's hungry/wet/hurt...etc...she just misses Mommy. If the bathroom is near where she is, you can keep on talking to her from inside, and as long as she can hear you she won't think you've left her forever.

Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I say just let her cry. She'll learn that you'll come back. If not she'll be 6 years old and you;ll still not be able to leave the room. She'll be ok, and it'll save you a lot of frustration later. Give it about a week or 2 and you'll notice she stops caring.

You could try a baby sling, like the ones on www.mayawrap.com - right now that's one of the few ways I get to go to the bathroom. Also, if you want to take a bath by yourself (no mean feat, as I'm sure you know), you could put your daughter in her car seat and take it into the bathroom with you. If she's asleep, even better - then you get to relax even more.

I think it is. My daughter is almost 9 months and she's attached to me only when there isn't someone else like her daddy her something. When I'm alone I either take a bath with her sitting on the floo with toys or put her to sleep. When it came to kitchen work I put her in her high chair with toys and cleaned anything else had to wait until daddy got home.

Is she crawling yet? Can she follow you around? Let her be and go to the bathroom. She will follow if she really wants to. It is ok to let her cry for a few minutes. Trust me, it will be harder on you than on her.
My son did that at 9mos. I just went to the bathroom and let him cry for a few minutes. He learned that mommy will be back in just a minute. I would also leave the door open so he could see me if he wanted to.
She is going through a clingy stage now. Don't worry, it is normal. Take a deep breath, this will be over soon!
Good Luck!

is very common to every mother and even for me. To tackle up with this type of situation you can call someone other to take care of your baby and even you can put nipple in her mouth while some instant work.
But, although if all this is not working, you can do one more thing, you should make her to sleep alone and also to make your hubby freindly to her, so, she will be in the habit of living with anyone of your family.

I always took my daughter to the restroom with me. It was no problem at all. I have not been to the restroom for years by myself. Now the cats come in there. And I am still surviving and using the restroom. Never had a husband to help.
