I'm planning to check this out at the next OB visit, but just wonder if people think it's something I should be concerned about or whether it's normal. I'm 27 weeks pregnant, and over the past week or so I've noticed a small bulge on my abdomen, right next to my navel. It's about the size and consistency of the yolk of a fried egg. It doesn't move (on its own or with help from me), doesn't hurt, but also doesn't feel like a baby part.

Has anyone ever had this? Is this something for concern, or just one of those normal weird pregnancy things?

Yep, I'm definitely, definitely pregnant. 2 ultrasounds, lots of kicks, etc. No chance of a misdiagnosis there!

I dunno, that could be lots of stuff. Pregnant bellies can feel kinda funny sometimes. I have a big lump (tennis ball size) on the top right hand side of my uterus, I notice it more as I get more pregnant. I thought it was a head or a butt at first, but when I asked the doctor about it, he said I have an abnormally shaped uterus. It HAS caused some issues, the baby decided she was done cooking at 24 weeks, but all that stuff has been controlled with meds. She is very healthy though, and is still in utero... 30 weeks now! Hope everything works out for ya!

Have you had ultra sounds?

This is going to suck but you might have Cancer. Certain cancers can come up with the same results as being pregnant. That is the quickest way to find out if a man has testicular cancer actually,.. he will come up pregnant on a pregnancy test.

Added: Okay,.. just wait on the doctor. I haven't seen people whineing about that but maybe your body is just building up that way.. but also things can get moved around during pregnancy (some times) so don't beat it out or anything because it may be something important (like an organ).
