it could possibly be the onset of labour. Take a warm bath and try to relax, if you are going into labour the pain in your tummy and back will come at regular intervals which you should time. When they get to about 10mins apart phone the maternity unit and let them know you are on your way.
If you are really worried you should phone the Maternity Unit and they will advise you.

Yes flower, diarrhoea and back ache can be the first signs of labour, you're a bit early at nearly 37 weeks but if baby is on it's way then so be it. If you are in any doubt ring your midwife or the Labour ward of the hospital that you are going to deliver at and tell them your symptoms and they'll advise you of what you should do next. Good luck flower.

Possibly, a good sign is going the loo, as your body wants to relieve it's self for all that pushing, i'd confirm with your midwife though. Good luck not long now I think this little one will definatley be having it's first Christmas this year:0)

It could be! I belive before you go into labour you go to the loo to have a clear out for the task ahead! Is the pain constant or coming and going?
If you are worried I would call the midwife for advice asap!
Good luck

sounds like it to me! You could still have a couple of days or more before you start off properly. Ring your maternity ward and let them know the developments then just relax! Have a warm bath, get your partner to give you a massage and most importantly try to get loads of sleep...Good Luck

It sounds like you are in labour to me and i have had four children, you need to see how far apart the pains are coming and if it gets bad or your waters break you need to phone your midwife, good luck

Could be. If the throbbing pain gets stronger or if you are leaking fluid or bleeding I'd call your OB and see what he says. Good Luck!
