Saline salution. You cannot beat it. If she squirts it in her nose until it runs down her throat a little, three times a day, i promise her cold will be almost gone in a couple days.
Its amazing stuff, and sad that its so often overlooked.
Dont listen to the first guy, she's right to not take cold medications. Anything but tylenol has been removed from the safe list of pregnancy medications. They especially dont want you to have anything with a decongestant, that includes sudafed and cough syrups.

She can take herbal remedies (she should go to her health store for advice on what to take) and she can take tylenol or paracetomol to reduce fever. Thats it. I went and saw my doctor last week with a head cold and wasnt given anything. Cold and flu preparations contain stimulants which increase the pulse and blood pressure. Its not good for baby either. They also contain codeine which is bad for a pregnant woman.
Apart from the tylenol and herbals she just needs bed rest and to keep her fluids up as well to stop her from dehydrating.

Orange juice and also have her go get some odorless and tasteless garlic gel caps they help boost the immune system. But she can also read some of the cold meds, some are safe for when pregnant, have her call her doctor.

when i was pregnant, my boss told me to mix hot water, honey , and lemon together and drink it. it helps open up your sinus cavaity, sooths your throat, and makes you warm (which shouldn't be a problem now). it won't make it go away but it does make you feel good enough to get through your day. if she does want to try meds, the doctors gave me a list... sudafed (plain or nasal decongestant) lowest dosage, childrens cough syrup( no alcohol), tylenol sinus or tylenol. i had a really hard pregnancy with sinus infections, colds, and headaches. always ask your doctor, they are always willing to help!!!
