I think my baby have dry scalp, but it's only in one spot of his head. I really don't know if it's dry scalp or dry skin, cause I can peel it off. I know thats sounds disgusting, but I am worried. He is only 1 years old, and my oldest son never had it.

Actually, I do not think it is dry scalp. It is actually called cradel cap and it just a place in a child's head that peels. It is nothing to worry about, my sister and I both had it. There are also special shampoos for it.

It is indeed caused by dry scalp, and sweating. it is called cradle cap, many babies get it. just rub a little oil into his scalp before bed, and then in the morning most will just wash off when you give him his bath or brush his hair. It may take two or three times to get it all off, but resist the urge to pick at it because you can cause an infection

Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and use a face pack of ripe bananas and honey. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for dry skin at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/dryskin.html

It is probably cradle cap. My son's pediatrition told me to give him less baths (because the water will actually draw moister from you skin) and to rub lotion on it. It's nothing to worry about.

It is probably just dry skin. My son would get it on his tummy and legs. We kept using lotion and it went away.
