Just wondering if anyone else would be mad if their child saw this at his or her grandparents' house. I'm not sure which one it was. I'm furious and my husband agrees but they think it's silly for me to care. We don't allow her to watch TV at all and her grandparents know that.

Our 15 m/o is at the 'no fear' climbing and racing stage. Today she bumped her head on the corner of a wall and it swelled and bruised terribly. An hour later she bumped her head slightly (I was there for this one) on the corner of a padded chair....again, black and blue and some swelling. Later today....after getting home from our travels...I took her leotards off and her legs are bruised!
:( I'm wondering if the bruising and swelling could be indicative of a diet issue? She's at the stage where she's refusing to eat certain things (well, most things)...she drinks Vit D whole milk, some fruit, some eggs, and anything carb (cheerios, crackers, toast, etc). Could the bruising and swelling be an indication of lack of protein/iron? Something else? She's always been quite active and has had the normal accidents...but none have caused this type of result.

Tx-in-advance!

My youngest stepdaugher is 10 and is one of the pickiest eaters I have ever seen. It doesn't seem to matter what I cook, she doesn't want to eat it. I have made normal, everyday meals like I make for my kids and my husband, but she just snears at them and barely eats. A few times my husband has actually made her something different, but I don't think that he should cater to her just because her mother does. Her mom does cook her separate meals, and I refuse to. It is not like I am cooking disgusting food that most kids don't want to eat, like brussle sprouts or spinich. I have even cooked homemade chilie before and chicken tortilla soup and she turns up her nose at it. I told her one day that she would eat the meal or starve and she complained that I was mean to try to tell her she had to eat my "nasty food" or starve. I am beginning to wonder if she is doing it just to be disrespectful to me, because I don't cater to her like her mom does. Would you cook a separate meal?

I just newly found out Im pregnant and am currently about 5 wks into my pregnancy. Right now I work wal-mart overnight shift for grocery side. I told them about 2 weeks ago that I was pregnant and that until I was able to see my doctor (December 6th) I did not want to lift off of the juice pallots, becuase juice is very heavy and for fear of a miscarriage (8-96 oz, 4-1 gallons, 4-Capri Sun cases, etc) Each weighing Im sure well over 30 lbs. Well the person who works the juice aisle is the one to lift off of the pallots each pallot 50-100 cases of juice and water about 2 pallots a night, I used to not mind lifting off of juice pallots would do it all the time. Tonight they tried to put me in the juice aisle and I told them that I didnt want to becuase I was pregnant, and she said that if I was doing it all a long I should be fine...So well I started crying and decided to leave becuase I was "emotionally Ill". Was I wrong for tucking my tail? Isnt there usually weight restrictions?

My husband has no patience and I am starting to notice that our son is taking after him. He gets mad and angry and makes these cute faces but I don't want him to grow up not knowing how to handle his frustrastion. I have read that Legos is a good patience building toy but so far they just seem to make my son even more frustrated. Does anyone have any advice on how I can teach my son patience or is this something that can't be controlled?

So me and my friend the other day were in Target with her 2 year old. Well he saw this horse and it is spost to be like a real horse and he was playing with and having a good time. Well I was done looking around and I told her I am ready when you are. I know is going to take a minute to get her son away from this toy. So she says we can go. So okay he is whining because he want to go back to the toy. She says no it is time to go. Well we are in the check out line. This lady across the way says to her why are you ignoring your son. We both looked like what this lady is really talking to us. Okay for one I want to know how she was ignoring her son when he is standing down by her feet whining, we all know we wish we could ignore that but you cant. So then the lady said you are showing him you are powerful. Then I stepped in and said excuse me he is the child and she is the mom she is spost to be incharge right? Then I went off on this lady and said to mind her own bussiness. I don't

I live behind a park and i have a dog, a gate faces onto the park which is needed for council access due to a storm water drain running through the property. Lately children aged 3-6 have been poking my dog with sticks through the gate, throwing rocks and throwing sticks at him over the fence and myself. We have asked the parents many times to stop nicely and have received abuse.
My dog has had an absyss from being poked and also on several occassions a bloody mouth and face. The council says its a police problem and the police say they are too busy for this. The children are constantly bashing on the gate which we have been forced to barricade up and install a cheap security system to deter them. this is not working.

Is this normal 'just kids having fun' behaviour. Should the parents be doing more than laughing and waving at us while their children to it? Is this behaviour typical of 3-5 year olds? Do your children annoy neighbours when they go to the local park

Me and my boyfriend have been going out for more than a year. Last night he wanted me to go see him but I couldn't. So he asked me to go see him and that he would wait for me. He wanted me too sneak out. However I had family over so I couldnt. He told me to please sneak out becuase it had been almost a month since we havent seen each other. I told him that to please wait til saturday so we can see each other and he told me, " sneak out please, I really wanna see you. Please, if you dont then dont whine later on." I never whine when I cant see him or when he cant see me. So what would he mean by that? He has cheated on me before so would he have meant that dont whine when he finds another girl? Today he went clubbing with his cousin and brother and didnt even bother to call me. We are sexually active together, may that be why he is still with me? I really do love him. I have forgave many of his sh*t ,and im just so tired of it. I try talking to him but I just dont know what to say 2 h
