I had lots of little symptoms but all could techically be explained away, that is, until "the boobs" started in. OH MY LORD! My breast pain was insane and far far beyond any tenderness I'd ever experienced with my period. As soon as that tenderness began, I KNEW I was pregnant.

While a doctor would be the best way to find out. The most common method is the lack of a period.

However, many things can attribute to a late period, stress being one of them.

So to answer your question... you really can't KNOW for sure whether or not you are pregnant without a test, or waiting a couple months.

Without a pregnancy test or a doctor, you will only know you're pregnant if in 9 months, a baby comes crawling out of your vagina.

The first sign for some people is a lack of a nutrient (in my case it was calcium, and my nails started breaking all the time). Cravings, frequent urination, everything else everyone has mentioned.

BUT...if the cost of a pregnancy test is a concern to you (those suckers are expensive!) - the Dollar Store sells pregancy tests. Buy 3 or 4 and take them all as soon as you miss your period. There are rarely false positives.

without a doctor or pregnancy test? ..........9 months later.

Or several months later, after lots of peeing & puking & indigestion, light or no periods, sore boobs, mood swings, & lower abdomen cramps. If you swell up like you got somethin in there & got bigger movement than gas bubbles....it's prolly a baby.
