We have been trying to concieve for months now and finally it happend. We both wanted a child so badly. He talked about it all the time. I am 5 weeks. I was unbelievably excited but he acted like it was another day. His family and I keep asking him if he is happy and hes like yeah sure and he changes the subject. I dont understand this. We both wanted it so badly and now we have a child on the way but he is not acting happy. On the other hand he isnt acting sad about it either. I just dont know what to think. I asked him if it is because he is scared and he says no. Does anyone know what is going on with him??? I dont want to go through this pregnancy alone!!!

I am 5 weeks prego. We dont really like traditional names such as Rachel or Micheal (NO OFFENCE IF THAT IS YOUR NAME!!) or anything like that. We like unique but not weird or overly common. We want to have the name game out of the way so we dont have to worry about it later! Thank you sooo much!!!!

Unsure on what age babies start to teeth and what the signs are. My 3 month old is chewing her hand to bits - dribbling for wales and very grizzly and restless. Its very out of character for her. Any suggestions on what it could be or if it is teething some tips would be greatly appraciated. Thanks

I didn't have my period for 2 mos. now. I used home pregnancy test twice and it turn out (-). I know it is normal for me because I have PCOS and currently taking metformin but my problem is last two nights ago, i had an abdominal cramping; it seems like im having my period, i checked my undies and i didn't have any bleeding now im having a hearburn..what am i experiencing???

My mother smoked with my sister and I, thankfully we turned out ok. I have smoked on and off for awhile, but I would stop immediately if I knew I was pregnant. Why do they do it?????? Why?

ok she is like 12 and shes getting her nose peirced tomorrow after her b-day aprty is over..shes truning 13 and before she does...i wanna tell how old she has to be...even tho they made an appointment to get it peirced already...so how old do you have to be in georgia to get your nose pierced..i have asked and serched and i cant find it any where about the age....i know you have to have a parent consent but i mean i dont want anything bad to happen even tho her mom is taking her......and the tatoo and piercings shop is closed so i cant ask them...and how do i tell her shes making a bad choice at such a young age? thanx

I'm 34 weeks pregnant and lately I have hear very loud cracking sounds exactly like someone is cracking there knuckles inside my womb! Is this normal?? I never heard it with my first son. It's not my stomach growling or anything it's distinctly when the baby moves and is heard where he pushes against me. Is it his joints cracking, and I can hear it? Has anyone else had this happen to them or know what it is? Thanks -Amber

He is not focusing with his eyes. He looks all ovrr, but doesn't maintain contact with anything for too long. He turns his head from side to side (left and right). He arches his back and seems to like looking at things over head. He is NEVER still unless he is sleeping. Even when trying to feed him, he seems to want to eat, but is constantly wriggling around. He is not sleeping well. Even with cereal in his bottle, the most he will sleep is 4 hours at a time. He was 1 month premature, so I don't know if I'm just expecting too much too soon or what. When he does look at me, one eye seems to look directly at me while the other is not on me but sort of drifting. Is any of this related to autism? His doctor says the chance of anything being wrong is very remote because everything looks so normal, but I can't help but worry.

my daughter is 13 months old and she is sick.1st she puked up curdled milk(the milk wasnt bad),then she was just puking and gagging on her spit.i gave her a popsicle and held it for her to eat and she ate it but puked it up after. then she drank a bottle(i mixed a lil bit of milk and the rest water)she puked that too.she doesnt have a fever but all she wants to do is lay down.shes never been sick before except for a cold.is this normal?have any of children been like this?and what should i do for her?i called the dr's and they told me to gove her pedialyte and popsicles.she doesnt like pedialyte and she throws up everything after she has it.
